Perfect For Small Family Or Couples, Honeymoon, Baby-Moon !
Why Jason Miller chose West Olive
This cottage was purchased by my grandfather upon his return from WWII in the 1940's. It is still in our family and several generations have enjoyed making memories here. We treat it gently and with love, and ask you to do the same.

The pictures do not do this justice. A charming cottage with fantastic lake views and access. The water was a little high during our stay so no beach but there are plenty of nearby beaches to visit, including Kirk Park and Olive Shores. So relaxing to hear the waves each day - we didn't want to leave. Thanks so much for a wonderful stay at the Miller Cottage.
Perfect weekend getaway.
We spent two nights at the Miller Cottage and it was exactly what we were looking for. Clean, charming and ideally located between Grand Haven and Holland. Would highly recommend for a couples getaway weekend.
Private setting with spectacular view
My wife and I enjoyed our 2-night stay immensely. In short, the cottage was very clean and nicely furnished, the beach provided a number of beautiful strolls, and the view from the sun porch was spectacular.
Cute cottage with amazing views
My husband and I really enjoyed staying here for our anniversary trip. The cottage was clean and nicely decorated. We loved the views of the lake right from the sunroom of the cottage.
Charming Get Away on Lake Michigan
The owners were welcoming and the location was excellent. The pictures on-line did not do the layout of the space justice. We were very pleased with the space upon arrival. Access to the lake was better than most and by this I mean fewer steps to the beach. The distance to local attractions such as shopping, groceries and restaurants was very reasonable. The internet access was sufficient for entertainment when books or games no longer appealed. The house was clean and had great views of the lake. The fireplace on the deck was a nice touch on a couple of chilly evenings. If I were to make one suggestion it would be to replace the sagging couch in the living room. It was not comfortable. That said we enjoyed our time at this charming little house on the lake and would recommend it to others. Oh and if only it had a hot tub you would never get rid of us -hint, hint!
This was our fifth year at the Miller's cabin. It is the perfect getaway for couples. The privacy and quiet leaves you feeling like you have the lake to yourself. We enjoyed relaxing days on the beach; walking, reading, floating. Sunsets, whether in the water, on beach or the deck were breathtaking. The cabin offers a comfortable bed, well equipped kitchen, and relaxing living room(which includes a sofa bed). We spend the bulk of our time on the porch, deck and the beach enjoying the stunning views and sounds of the lake.
