This upgraded former model home makes a cozy vacation rental. With four bedrooms and two and a half baths it sleeps up to nine guests comfortably. Located on one acre of land there is plenty of room to park your RV short-term and enjoy the privacy of northern Corrales. From the back of the home, there are majestic views of the Sandia Mountains. The Rio Grande River is an easy, one mile walk or bicycle ride away. An added plus to this property is that during the annual Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta, balloons often land right behind the house!

The open floor plan includes a great room with a traditional kiva fireplace, tongue and grove ceilings, patio access. The dining area and breakfast nook seats up to 8 guests comfortably. The gourmet kitchen has upgraded appliances and a generous pantry for storage during longer stays. The carpeted master bedroom has a private en suite bathroom with walk-in shower, separate bathtub with fireplace and a large walk-in closet. It also has its own private access to the attached patio.

Three other carpeted bedrooms have a queen bed in two and the third bedrrom has bunk beds. The adjacent bathroom is a full bath with two sinks. A complete laundry room is available for your needs.

The fenced backyard, with artificial grass and shaded patio, has a BBQ, fire pit and outdoor Chiminea fireplace. Also available for your use are several bicycles including three cruising beach bikes, a mountain bike, two children's bikes and a toddler push bike. Additionally, there is a child's car seat and infant/toddler hiking backpack.

Just minutes from the property are a wide variety of restaurants and outdoor farmer's markets. For fine dining we recommend Indigo Crow (reservations are a good idea). For casual dining we suggest Village Inn Pizzaria, a great venue for families and large gatherings. For a nice brunch or lunch, we enjoy Nate and Hannahs and Flying Star. All locations are located on Corrales road just a few minutes away.

What makes this house unique

This home has a very warm and comfortable enviroment. Travelers will enjoy the quiet enviroment of the one acre property. One of our favorite things to do at the home is to sit on the back patio and enjoy the beautiful sunsets that reflect off the Sandia mountains.

Beautiful, clean, property located in a quiet, safe neighborhood with the best mountain view in Albuquerque. The in-floor heating was very nice for the chilly mornings. The wifi was fast and very consistant. Had a problem with a bathroom fixture and Tracy immediately sent me the name of their plumber so I could arrange a convienient time for him to resolve the problem. I stayed for 2 months to get away from a " northern " winter. Master bedroom is an oasis in itself. Would highly recommend this property. Be sure to eat breakfast or get a sticky roll at the Range Cafe in Bernillo while staying at the property.

Wonderful home and location

This the exact location we wanted, near Corrales road for easy biking, walking along the river, and driving to Cottonwood or Albuquerque.

The home has an outstanding view of the Sandia Mountains and was the perfect southwest vibe. We go to New Mexico frequently (grew up there) and staying her was like staying in my own home.

Would absolutely stay here again (looking forward to it!)

Nice and comfortable home in terrific location

The home was nice, spacious, clean and comfortable for our family. It is located at the entrance to a quiet neighborhood of similar homes. The property has a terrific view, which we enjoyed mornings and evenings, before and after our visits to interesting sites in the Albuquerque and Santa Fe areas. Easy access to major thoroughfares for day trips; near health facilities, pharmacies, gas station, stores of all kinds, even Crossfit! Nice walk along acequia to the banks of the nearby Rio Grande River and to Trailhead Park. Highly recommend.

This property was excellent. Loved the entry system which being from Scotland was a bit of a novelty. The house is beautifully furnished and was spotless. It is exactly as described on VRBO. The patio area is where we ate most nights and then we sat out watching the sun set over Sandia. I always feel the true merit of a property lies in the service you get from the owner. We had one very minor problem and our enquiry was answered in 5 minutes. Proved to me it was service you could rely on. One apology to the owner I completely forgot to fill in the guest book. My only excuse was that it felt like home to us

Perfect Home for visits to Albuquerque and Santa Fe

There were six of us staying in this beautiful home for a long weekend, 2 adults and 4 teens. The home is spacious and perfect for a family stay. The master bedroom/bath is huge and has a sleep number bed, plus a fireplace and jacuzzi tub as added features. The kitchen was well stocked, there was laundry soap available for washing clothes, and the kids were delighted to take an early morning bike ride on the provided bicycles. The backyard was spacious with a BBQ and chiminea for the cooler nights, plus the views of the Sandia Mountains along with the desert view in the morning were gorgeous. Thank you for allowing us to use your lovely home.
