Beautiful apartment of 45M.
Large and comfortable enough for 6 people to rest and spend a relaxing holiday. Kitchen and dining room in the greenhouse and solarium there is enough room for 8 people at the table.
2 Bunk beds (4 beds) in a room separated with a door. 3 seat sofa and a real double bed in the lounge. no click clak for a good night's rest Beautiful views of the glacier Peclet morning and evening.
The apartment is renewed at peinteure and machines and with new curtains. Wooden floor in the greenhouse.
You benefit from a living room with a new sofa three people. The sofa is not a click clak so there's a real double bed without rift between the two beds. The TV is in the living room with video and DVD player. In the evening the adults can cause the greenhouse while children look on their TV or played video. Or vice versa..

Equipment: Cookware is of high quality, even the expensive blow meat. I like cooking and I made the big boufes.
I like my vacation was prende the apartment, so I like to spend my holidays in a comfortable place.
Every year I buy something new control and that everything works well.
A major advantage of this is the apprtement solarium greenhouse, which gives opportunity for children and adults to pass the soirres separate. Children on Tele as traveling on wheels or in the living room and parents with a glass of wine in the Greenhouse.
Later the children have their room themselves, and their parents took them space in the lounge.
The bathroom and toilet are separated.
The walls are sword, so, no noise from neighbors.
Shower aditional always enough hot water 'no excuse not to bathe my children'.

We had a very pleasant week in Val Thorens in this apartment. The photos were accurate. We had friends from a neighbouring apartment over to dinner and comfortably sat 9 around the table. The location is very good, possibly perfect. 10M from the apartment to the lift 10M to your ski locker and 20M to the piste. Karin was quick with all communications, very helpful and pleasant to deal with, Derek also was helpful and responded same day. The apartment was if anything too warm due to neighbours as we did not have the heating on! All the applicances worked and Karin cleaned the place early on the first day so we could move our bags and get skiing quickly. The beds were good and we slept well after we worked out how to leave a window slightly open, there was some street noise but that is part and parcel of being located so centrally. The shower was very good, on the first day it ran out of hot water but we think that's because the weather meant a lot of people finished at the same time, after that it was fine. The furniture is high quality a little dated at this stage but absolutely functional. We had a week of great skiing and will carry forward happy memories of our stay. If we are lucky enough to be back in Val Thorens next year this apartment will be top of our list.
Quirky apartment but all works well. We were 4 adults and 2 kids and it was fine for a week.
In terms of ski-ing, shopping and services it is the absolute best location, as pointed out in previous reviews.

Another plus is the washing machine, which is not common in ski apartments. The apartment is warm and the clothes dried quickly. No iron.
Seul bemol as the French say: we were there during Belgian week and there were drunks yelling and hollering through to 4am and the noise gave me several awful nights' sleep. I'm surprised the authorities don't stamp down on it because it will give VT a bad name. Earplugs became compulsory and that didn't completely work. The 4 in the bunk room didn't complain however.

Loved our stay in the apartment - much more spacious than the others I've stayed in before, with a great view of the slopes. In fact the location couldn't have been any better with the apartment right in the centre of the town. Derek the owner is also a pleasure to deal with.

Great apartment. There were 5 of us, and there would have been space for 6. Location is excellent - 10 metres from edge of snow close to top of the "magic carpet" lift to the building. Ski hire shop in same building basement. Shops very close. Info centre from where to buy ski pass etc very close. Easy to ski to door, and out, even for poor skiiers (I know, as I am one !) - nice easy blue run down to the central meeting area for ski school etc. Apartment nicely appointed with just about everything we needed. Good that the double bed in the living area does not need to be folded up in the daytime. Photo shows dining area, with glass doors separating it from the living area. You need to contact the lady who manages the apartment to order sheets, pillow cases, and towels, which are not included. Need to buy internet access cards, by the hour, from place nearby. They worked OK. Apartment has nice view of the mountains, and also good for people-watching, as the end of a ski run goes past the window. Resort is good for beginners and plenty of not-too-hard blue runs. Not sure about the tricky runs, but the kids seemed to find enough that was challenging. It is a good resort.
The apartment is located in the best place of the resort. Right in the center of val thorens .really ski in and ski out .in the same building you can find an atm machine also in the same building is the tourist office. And in just 1 minute walk is the "Malaysia" the biggest club in val thorens.Further more the clinc is 50 meter from the apartments building .in case someone jet injured.
The apartment it self
Is very large lots of space .you have everything you need in the kitchen to cook .also there is dishing machine .in the living room there is a nice lcd tv .there is also wifi and a washing machine. There are 2 heaters in apartment and they do a very good job.
The balcony is nice for sunny days, its facing the slope.
I was in the apartment with 2 friends for a month and it was amazing .we had everything we needed in the apartment.
Ps. Derek the owner is very nice .also Valerie the the contact woman was great.
This turned out to be a lovely flat with a few quirky additions which made it better than the average sterile ski flat. We particularly liked the double bed which is up all the time so you don't have to convert it and make it twice a day and even allows you to slide back the door to the kitchen and put the kettle on.The Sun room makes a great dining room and a good place to sit as well as containing the kitchen We loved the views, the easy access to the slopes and easy communication with the owner and the key holder. It was scrupulously clean, well equipped and excellent value. Hope no one else books as we are going back next year! By then we hope they will have bought a toaster, English size mugs and Flat screen TV. By the way the WI FI is great.
