Penthouse apartment with a spacious sun terrace which is within 5 minutes walk of the beach. Quiet location although if you want lively nightlife it is within 15 minutes walk. Nearest quality restaurants 5 minute walk or you could make use of the fully equipped kitchen. Well furnished and equipped with satellite TV, DVD, CD player and Air Conditioning/Heating. Adult swimming pool and infant pool available. Ample parking. Mountain and sea views from the spacious balcony and roof terrace. Fully equipped bathroom. Port with fish restaurants 15 minutes stroll along the `paseo de Mediterraneo` or town centre 15 minutes in the opposite direction. Superb supermarket 3 minutes walk away, major shopping centre 10/15 mins by local bus. Playa Serena golf course 1.8 miles away.The nearest airport is Almeria which is a 25 minutes drive or local bus. Fly with Easyjet, Ryanair or Monarch. Car hire is available. Private pick-up from the airport can be arranged for those who prefer not to drive.

There are also hairdrying and ironing facilities for your convenience. There is ample parking available. The lifts to the 3rd floor are suitable for wheelchairs and push chairs. Swimming pools are not used in the winter months.Built in double wardrobes in both bedrooms.The sofa bed is situated in the lounge area.

Fantastic location, however apartment was very tired and repairs needed.

Arrangements for key collection very disorganised and not ideal. Directions given by owner incorrect, agents however was correct but spent too long of our valuable holiday before realising this was the case. Not a good start to our holiday. Apartment is not equipped enough for 6 people but ok for the two of us. Bedside draws broke in main bedroom and furniture very tired and dated. BBQ unusable due to condition as was foldable outside chairs. Iron was burnt so had to use a tea towel to do any ironing. Location however absolutely perfect. Stairs to roof terrace were very scarey and a lot of residents have changed there's for this reason. Disappointing apartment but location 10/10.

Tranquil but easily accessible

We stayed in the apartment for just a few days - wish we had stayed longer! The apartment is ideal for a quiet family holiday - somewhat 100 meters from the beach yet located in a quiet apartment block. The patio is large, and you also have access to the roof of the buliding which provides wonderful facilities for private sunbathing. The apartment is literally stuffed with all one might need - from washing powder to paella pan!

Roquetas itself is a city located off the beaten routes, and that applies double to the part of the city where this apartment is, so no noisy tourists wandering over the streets and under your window all night long - though there are bars, discos and other guilty pleasures along the promenade.

Needless to say, both the owner and the persons looking after the apartment were very welcoming and mostly helpful!

arrived 5 june and stayed for six weeks. great location, close to super markets and bars. mainly a spanish resort.apartment is only a couple of minutes from the sea and its long sandy beach. the balcony over looks a side street so you dont get all the usual trafic noise but still have a view of the sea.we will be going again next year. my wife has to use a wheelchair and you could not wish for a better place to be.we can walk for miles its so flat (well i can) great place.

Excellent property and Location

My husband and I have just spent 2 weeks at this property, it is a lovely apartment in a quiet location with views of sea and mountains from balcony. Apartment is very well equipped. It is wheelchair accessible and only a few yards from prom and nearest supermarket.

we thoroughly enjoyed our holiday, and will certainly be returning.

Good property etc

We stayed here awhile ago, but I forgot we could leave a review. The location is fine and the views from the large balcony and rooftop sun terrace are good. The apartment was well equiped as described and very clean and presentable inside. (The uncleaned BBQ and extras outside not so! But I guess that's not the owners fault?).

Easy to find and well located and the owners were great to deal with. I hope we can get over there again soon.

Roquetas de Mar is situated 25 km west of Almeria and 160 km East of Malaga. To the west are the Sierra Nevada Mountains, these protect the area from bad weather so the climate is pleasant all year round and great for snow skiing in the winter months. Rainfall in this area is scarce and so the sun shines for 320 days a year!Roquetas de Mar is also popular among golfers of all standards and has some great courses within a 15 minute drive time. The promenade in Roquetas is popular with walkers. For the more energetic there is a cycle path ideal for roller bladers and joggers. The local port offers trips including the glass bottom boat and has an early morning fish market for seafood fans. Excursions are popular including ancient Granada and the spectacular Alhambra palace. The Cabo de Gata area of natural beauty is only a short journey away. For the children and young at heart there is Mini Hollywood theme park, made famous by the Clint Eastwood westerns, which has an amazing zoo.
