This is an accomplishment for us to take this property with it's good bones and turn it into an accommodation that we can share with travelers. The feedback has been great. Michelle Odato purchased this farmhouse in 2002

Although the house is an old farmhouse, it has been outfitted and decorated with a modern feel and modern day amenities.
We spent the weekend of July 4th there. Michelle was very accommodating. We called ahead because we ended up arriving early. No problem! She let us in early. We had two dogs with us. No problem. (Dogs are well-behaved and we picked up after them. We also paid the pet fee.) The house was clean and very well stocked. She even had laundry soap for us! We had 7 adults, 1 baby, and 2 dogs. There was plenty of room for all. The house has a fantastic screened-in porch with bbq pit and fire pit just outside on the deck. We used these almost everyday. One warning: the kitchen table is on wooden blocks to make it higher for kitchen stools to fit under. The stools fit fine but the baby was the only one that could sit there. No one else's legs could fit between the table and chair. So we just ate on the screened-in porch.
We had a great time with the family all in one spot! We would definitely stay here again!
It was literally minutes away from the Belleayre Ski Resort. The place was nice and clean. The pictures did not show the sofa which was located behind the chairs of the kitchen. It seems much bigger place in the pictures. Overall, it was a good place to stay. The owner was kind enough to have more people staying in the house. That's another plus. I will definitely rent it again.
Wonderful family Thanksgiving for the 7 of us - grandparents, kids and dog! Able to cook the feast, play games, hike trails, enjoy local scenery, hot chocolate around the fire, and sleep peacefully. The huge screened porch, beautifully appointed, would be fantastic in warmer weather. Will have to come back.
We came with a group of 10 and it was a great experience. Our favorite part was the outdoor back patio and we spent most of our them there. The two grill options were a bonus. There were a lot of seating options and it was relaxing. Heat lamp helped too. Would definitely come back again.
Here are brief reviews from others in group:
Great location, really close to a lot of nature activities like hiking and white water tubing. The kitchen was a little small for 10 people but we made it work. Best part of the house was the back patio--perfect for grillin & chillin. 5 stars would stay again!
Wish there was a real fire-pit or instructions for the mysterious table/firepit thing on the porch. Really appreciated all the mini bars of soap and the detergent pods for the dishwasher AND washer and dryer! 5 stars would stay again!
There were 3 families in our group, totaling 14 people (and 3 dogs). We were first to arrive and I was a bit nervous that we will not fit as the it was not as spacious as it looked in the pictures. It was not that at all. We were not crowded and everyone had a relaxing time. We loved hanging out in the deck as it was a great place to have a barbecue, play cards and just enjoy each other's company. The house was well provisioned and the owner was very nice and charming. There are only two small things that I can suggest to further improve the house and make any stay even better. Change the kitchen sink faucet. You have to turn it on very slightly as any additional pressure will end up with your clothes soaked. We also experienced power outage twice as the circuit breakers overloaded. I think this may have been caused by the huge portable ACs in each room. Since you are the mountains, it is usually cool at nights so a smaller window AC will suffice. And they are much more quiet too.
Overall though we had a grand time and where we stayed was definitely a huge factor.
Four families gathered for a quick ski weekend at Belleayre. We had been staying at the Colonial for several years and decided to try something new. This way we were able to save money by cooking our breakfasts and dinners and packing our lunches. The Kitchen was well provisioned and the furniture was fine although a bit tight we have traveled with these friends before and no one got in each others way. The bedrooms and baths are good sized and clean. The owner, Michelle is very nice and easy to work with. Will definitely consider staying again next year.
