This premium 686 sq ft condo is located in the historic and elegantly restored Bab's building. The charismatic Babs, built in 1905, will take you to the soul of the Missoula community in a heartbeat. Centrally located on Missoula's vibrant Hip Strip, the Babs is surrounded by the city's best restaurants and bakeries. Everything is just a walk away. The condo has been thoughtfully designed for a historic 'Queen Ann feel' and is ideal for out of town visitors looking to explore Missoula and the surrounding area. High ceilings and large bay windows bring lots of natural light to the space. Updated bathroom, appliances and other amenities are complimented by the refinished, shining oak floors reminding visitors of the old times. The master bedroom comes with a private full bathroom and king-sized mattress and solid wood bed frame. The entire bedroom set, with nightstands and a dresser, are brand new. The living room with a gigantic couch is made for relaxation. Search the web using high speed wireless internet or watch a movie on the HD flat screen TV. Read a book or just kick back and enjoy the views. The kitchen is top notch, compact and gourmet with a gas Viking range and oven. The dishwasher is hidden within a cabinet, as well and the refrigerator. A compact washer and dryer are also tucked within the hall closet area. There is plenty of organized storage closets for hanging clothes both in the bedroom and in the hallway of the condo.

About Jenni Rohrbach

Missoula, as for many people, is a special place to us. It is where we met as students in college and where we always knew we wanted to call home. After school, however, life and work took us to Asia, Finland and New York City, before we could both settle back in Missoula together and start our family. Now with our daughter Maija, we are pleased to share all that the Missoula community has to offer with visitors at our Bab’s condo.

Jenni first came to Missoula as an exchange student attending grad school from Finland. She immediately fell in love with the surrounding landscape and community but most of all Kurt. Kurt’s family is from the area and always knew the Montana lifestyle was the only one for him. They both enjoy the outdoor and cultural opportunities Missoula has to offer including skiing up Pattee Canyon, taking their daughter Maija to Missoula’s award winning Children’s Theater or enjoying Missoula’s restaurants, breweries and distilleries. They feel fortunate to call Missoula home and are pleased to share their love of the area with each of their guests.

Notes:
-The condo has large storage closets, which have plenty of room for clothing luggage etc. Inside the closets, there are additional supplies for renters to use. For instance, extra bedding, beach towels, flash light, an umbrella, a vacuum cleaner and other cleaning supplies etc. - A user friendly combination lock box with entry keys is available for flexible (late night) check-in times upon request. - A no shoes policy is highly recommended, in order to keep the condo nice and neat.

Perfect home base for exploring Missoula

Stayed here 4 nights for a wedding. The Bab's has a classic, historic vibe in the midst of downtown Missoula with all the modern conveniences. This condo unit is spacious and clean. A Roku TV in the bedroom is a nice touch for being able to watch Netflix or other personal streaming accounts. The condo has at least 10 restaurants/eateries within a block radius and is the ideal home base for exploring downtown Missoula by foot. We did not have any issue finding street parking in front of the building during our stay. We'll definitely stay here again if we are ever in Missoula!

Beautiful

Loved the location on the quaint residential side of the river next to many excellent & famous bakeries, restaurants, boutiques & the Big Dipper. Just minutes by foot over the bridge to more downtown along with the wonderful river walk park. The extensive & fun Saturday Farmer's Market is better than Seattle's Pike Place Market (grew up there, so I know). Beautifully renovated condo, love the architectural details.

Great location...responsive hosts

Comfortable, well located property. Walking distance to many restaurants, coffee shops, and other businesses in central Missoula. The lounge in the basement of the building with pool table was a wonderful bonus for our 8 year old grandchild. Kurt and Jenni were quite flexible about our check-in which made things very easy for us. They were also immediately responsive when we had some difficulty with the cable TV and fixed the issue quickly. I highly recommend this rental.

Awesome!

We stayed a week in September and could not have been more pleased with our stay. The apartment is located walking distance to our favorite restaurants (Silk Road {now closed}, Cafe Dolce, etc.) and was perfect for our family of four. The kitchen, while small, was well equipped and the stove was top-of-the-line and easy to use. We cooked meals and ate out, so really liked having a good kitchen. The apartment was super clean, nicely furnished and the bed was very, very comfortable with high quality linens. Jenni was fantastic to work with and I highly recommend those wishing to stay in a convenient location to consider this apartment!

Wonderful Stay

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the Babs condo. Within a two block area there are several great restaurants, coffee shops, bakeries, and a local bookstore, movie theater, and ice cream stand. The downtown area and the University of Montana are within easy walking distance. The condo is clean and nicely furnished, and the owners are very helpful. We would definitely stay here again.

My favorite place to stay when visiting Missoula!

We have stayed in this unit and the studio apartment in the basement many times over the years and they are both perfect. I love all the old details of the building, both inside and out, and the apartment itself is extremely well equipped. Jenni is very responsive to all communications, and I love that there is a book in the apartment with the answers to most questions I would ever think of asking. The bed is comfy, the bathtub is gloriously huge, and the whole place is spacious and lovely.

We love to walk and one of my favorite things about staying here is that we can park our car and never use it again during our stay. We enjoy walking over the bridge to restaurants and the Missoula Art Museum, and Le Petit serves delicious coffee and pastries right across the street. I can't recommend this place highly enough.
