At this height, our guests enjoy scenic ocean and jungle views from both the airplane windows and the handcrafted decks that has been built atop its wings. When the 727 is booked, please look at our romantic Cockpit Cottage , sleeps 2 people in a meticulously repurposed cockpit . VRBO listing 1068248. Or book both if your group requires sleeping for 8.
Wake to the roar of the howler monkeys, and have coffee with the playful spider and white faced monkeys to start your day. Monkeys , sloths, acoutis, and over 184 species of birds will become your neighbors, greeting you in your private jungle paradise.

An incredible experience
Amazing! The 727 was great. Myself, my 2 daughters and 3 grandchildren ages 6,7 and 8 stayed for 6 days. The views from the deck are spectacular and we had monkeys come right up and look in the windows .The grandchildren loved to sit in the cockpit and pretend to fly the plane. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful and we enjoyed many hours in the pools, where we saw a sloth up in a tree one day, and at the beach which was only about about a 10 minute walk away. We all loved staying here, it was a unique vacation and we will all have great memories of our 727 stay!
Perfect! That is exactly why I love sharing this home. When you stay in this one of a kind home, your family creates a wild family memory that will never be forgotten. Let's hope your Grandchildren bring their children back to the jungle 727 one day.
Thanks for letting me know one of the 3 beds was uncomfortable. Can you tell which one? I have never had a complaint before about the beds. I am a little confused why you rated the amazing 727 Fuselage home in the jungle tree tops a 2 because your bed was uncomfortable? Did you enjoy seeing the monkeys and listening to the howler monkeys in the rocking chairs on the polished teak decks above the white sand beaches ? Wasn't it wild to take a shower in the cockpit and enjoy spectacular sunsets from the adult pool area?
So sad to hear an uncomfortable bed marred a once in a lifetime adventure in one of the most unique repurposed homes in the world.
Walking distance to beach, restaurants & bars. Loved the adult pool over looking the ocean. Would definitely return
Smelly, poor service, unfriendly staff
From the moment we checked in the staff was not friendly, unprofessional and inattentive. Issues arouse such as our room being left wide open from housekeeping, unfriendly bartender at the pool that would not do so much as to say hello or hola, a nasty chemical/sewer smell in the 727, lack of any hot water the day we checked out. Coste verde and this resorts owner should be shut down. We have traveled the world and are down to earth low maintennace, but have never have we had such a horrible experience. The property manager is detached and does nothing to correct issues during your stay. One star is generous.
This is indeed one of the oddest reviews I have ever received. There is no mention of the early check in I arranged for you, the several conversations we had during your stay where you thanked me for sending you to hear my friends play music and when the hotel manager personally called to apologise that housekeeping left the key in the door. I myself apologized , and explained that sometimes things don't work the same in a third world country. That being said, you make no mention of the spectacular sunsets, the monkeys swinging in the jungle foliage, macaws and toucans waking you in the morning, or the breathtaking white sand beaches viewed from the overwing teak balconies. In your email to me you stated the 727 and the grounds are meticulously preserved and groomed, and thanked me for my extra assistance. I am at a loss to explain your deeply upsetting review.
The 727 was amazing . The views are great and there’s plenty to do close By . We were visited by squirrel ,and white faced monkeys . Quite and experience
Please come back to the jungle soon, the monkeys miss you already!
WOW what an experience
This was really a wild experience, and first class all the way. Faith was great to deal with, sent us all kinds of info and helped us get the most out of our jungle stay. The 727 is beautifully refurbished, and meticulously maintained. We sat and watched the monkeys watch us , with views of Manuel Antonio white sand beaches. Several good restaurants in walking distance, but our favorite is the bar area at the adult pool, where we met other colorful adventurous travelers. Best sunset in Costa Rica . They have also built a smaller cockpit cottage, perfect for a couple, and were bringing in another fuselage that is being converted into an event / restaurant space. The owner also owns the restaurant AVION, up the hill, a must see when in Manuel Antonio , even if you don"t get to stay in the 727.
Every possible outdoor activity can be found in the Manuel Antonio area from bird watching to sport fishing. Jungle , beach and mountains are all within your reach.
