'Sea La Vie' as the name would suggest, is a place to leave your cares behind, relax and enjoy life at the beach. This home has undergone a complete renovation making it a very cozy and comfortable home to enjoy with friends and family. The home was built in 1924 and still retains the charm and character of homes built during that era. The home is 1,700 sq. ft and features four bedrooms, sleeps 10, two full baths, large living/dining area, gas fireplace, outdoor wood burning fireplace, tile floors, 55' flat screen TV with surround sound, DVD, cable TV, washer/dryer, wifi and bicycles. Although not ocean view, the home is in a very desirable South Seaside location just 250 feet from the beach and is a very easy walk to restaurants and shopping. Seaside has much to offer all age groups and this very comfortable home is a great location to experience it from.

About Mike Meyer

We are native Oregonians and reside in the Portland area. We built a home on the Promenade in 2007 (VRBO 200514 and VRBO 433855) and have enjoyed great friend and family time here in Seaside. 'Sea La Vie' was an eight month renovation process that brought the home up to a standard we believe will provide our guests with an experience they will come back for. This home provides a different experience than our Prom home. We describe Sea La Vie as having a cozier, beachier feel. I know beachier is not a real word. It's proximity to our Prom home, just across the street, provides for a great second location for larger groups. We have worked hard with you in mind and hope you enjoy this home as much as we do.

Perfect seaside home

We had a group of 6 including two kids and the house was perfect! The kids loved the bunk beds, bikes, sand toys and the close proximity to the beach. It was an easy one-block walk to the beach, and my daughter enjoyed the swings. The house was comfortable, clean, well decorated and the kitchen had plenty of pots, pans, plates, glasses etc. The location is convenient as it's an easy walk, drive or bike ride to the aquarium, carousel, arcade and lots of little shops downtown. There are tidepools nearby in "the cove" and it was an easy drive to cannon beach! Ecola State Park was also nearby and well worth the 15 minute drive. The owner was responsive, helpful and easy to work with. We had a wonderful stay and I highly recommend this house to anyone visiting the area!

Perfect vacation house in the heart of Seaside

Our entire experience renting this house, from start to finish, was fantastic. The owner is very responsive and easy to work with. The house is exactly as described and shown in pictures. The house is clean, open, and perfect for a family vacation. It feels freshly renovated and done well. We loved the outdoor fireplace, courtesy bikes, and comfortable furniture. As great as this house is the best part about it is LOCATION. One block from the beach and nearly as close to town. You are literally in the heart of Seaside in this house, we walked everywhere! We truly enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate to book here again.

Had everything we wanted and more!

My family had a simply wonderful time- high school graduation celebration for my son. We brought a girlfriend and best friend - late teens/ early 20's crowd and family. Everyone had a very comfortable and clean bed and space to be alone and plenty of room together as well. The furnishings were very nice and the house was very clean. Located right across the street from the beach and with sand bikes available down the street it was very easy to go have fun spur of the moment. Multiple trips back and forth to beach was a breeze. The owners were very accommodating and the fireplace outside was a favorite gathering spot! We made lots of great memories and we will be back!

Perfect location! Perfect house! Perfect vacation!

we had two families in the home with children aging from 12-1. The house was very clean and the owners were very accommodating and helpful!!There was enough beds and plenty of space for the bunch of us! The kids LOVED the bikes and we really loved the location! We would walk to the beach and walk over to Sea Star Gelato many times!

Our families hope to return again in the next year or two and hope we can stay at this house again! We made great memories!!!

The town has gone through an impressive revitalization in the past decade adding a host of new restaurants and shopping opportunities. The traditional Seaside attractions including the Aquarium, bumper cars, Carousel Mall, Arcade and historic eateries such as the Pig 'n Pancake continue to be a cornerstone of must see and do attractions.
