About Leslie Kinsella
I grew up in the beautiful Annapolis Valley and spent much of my life at the Fundy Shore in the summer. Since moving to NJ I always wanted to share this special place with my children and husband. We spend a part of every summer here and hope you love it as much as we do.
Leslie Kinsella purchased this House in 2005
Why Leslie Kinsella chose Margaretsville
Take day trips to Annapolis Royal, Vineyards and Winerys in Gaspereau Valley, clam digging at Blomidon, Habitation, Port Royal, Upper Clements Park, South Shore, Lunenburg, Oak Island and Halifax. With Atlantic Standard time you can still be back to watch the sun set over the Lighthouse.
What makes this House unique
A wonderful place for small children as there is a large grassy yard in front and back.

If you are looking for a quiet haven to call home while on vacation, this is the place. Internet signal not great, not a lot of channels but we did not travel to NS to
stay in and watch TV! Beautiful scenery, country quiet, close to many amenities, we absolutely loved our time at Kinsea House ❤️
So glad to hear Angela!
Quaint little town away from the bustle of the city.
Very cozy cottage and home away from home!
Quiet small town, super comfortable and clean place, perfect for our trip, mid way through.
We stayed at Kinsea House mid way through our week in Nova Scotia. We enjoyed the great front deck overlooking the bay, walked down by the beach and lighthouse in search of treasures with the kids, watched sunsets at the lighthouse and went for a day trip to Freeport whale watching. We would recommend this place to anyone looking for a quiet getaway.
Delighted to hear you enjoyed your stay at Kinsea while visiting Nova Scotia!
NO PANORAMIC views from house. Obstructed by neighbours house and trees, small bit of ocean only
No view, not walk out to bay of Fundy as pictures described. House was adequate and on part with description.
I appreciate you taking the time to review Kinsea House and your feedback .
In order to better convey the location to Bay of Fundy I will update and add photos to my website. I will also be certain to describe in more detail the distance of walk to the beach.
Peaceful place to relax and spend time by the sea
It was lovely to have an ocean view from the deck and a short stroll to the water where our kids loved looking for crabs. We took a short drive to Port George and saw seals and had fun investigating the tidal pools for sea creatures. The cottage was very comfortable to hang out and cook your meals in but we also enjoyed The Dock of the Bay restaurant which was a few steps away and restaurants in Greenwood and Kingston. We really enjoyed our day trip to Digby area for a whale watching trip with Petit Passage Whale Watch. It was fantastic to see whales.
Thank you for taking the time to submit feedback as I am always trying to get many perspectives. Wonderful you got to Port George and explored the Bay of Fundy Tidal pools with your children and enjoyed relaxing on the deck and making memories this summer.
Try the Dock By the Bay Cafe down at the Wharf on Haddock Alley. Delicious food and drink and sights and sounds of the Bay of Fundy.
