Has everything you need

The pictures in this rental are exactly how the condo looks. The location is GREAT! We had a group of 6 Adults that came to Sanibel for a week. This Condo has an outside storage room that has all the toys and needs for the beach. Including chairs, umbrellas, toys for kids, floatation devices and even a large cooler! What a surprise to see all this. The sliding glass doors for the balcony fully opens, allowing the outside to come in the inside for all the hear the waves and enjoy the weather. The furnishings and bedding were very good. The previous review stated there were problems with the locks and toilet. We did not have those problems. Yeah, the guest bedroom has a TV without Cable, but we didn't watch any TV as we were always out on the beach or enjoying the outside! We were on the beach shelling everyday! So many shells. The refrigerator does not have an automatic ice machine, but it has 4 ice trays that you manually fill. We loved the oscillating fan in the guest bedroom for white noise at night. We didn't do any cooking but enjoyed our cocktails on the balcony. Do wish there were more glassware and dishes as we had to run the dishwasher several times to keep them clean for the next use. For information on the island, there is Sanibel WELCOME center when you first come to the island for information on what to see and do. For those seeking a great location with a great view, this is the place to come ! If we ever come back to Sanibel, we would be renting this location agaijn.

Decorated Nice and Nice View and that is it

`Our trip did not start very good. We drove 17 hours to get to our condo. We picked up the keys and when we arrived at the Sundial we found our room and unpacked our truck. We went to our condo the keys did not work. So we thought we were in the wrong place. We got back into our truck called the rental place and they told us we were in the correct place and we told them the keys did not work. By the time we got there maintenance was there. Guess what there keys didn't work either. The whole time we had problems with our keys. First problems the toilet in the main bathroom every time you flush the toilet would run(we even called maintenance to fix the problem and still did not work). Also the shower curtain in the guest bathroom in inside out,. There is no cable tv in the guest bedroom. Every condo I have been in Florida has cable in every room. The bedrooms have no ceiling fans. You walk into the bedroom and flip a switch to nothing. The guest bedroom has an oscillating fan(REALLY). There is no phone books in the condo. no information at all about the island(thankfully we have been going down there since I was 5 and actually knew the island) and the kitchen is not equipped(your toaster only half works) and there is no ice maker. Needless to say next year we will be staying elsewhere.

Owner's Response: I'm very sorry when anyone has issues while staying in any of our Sanibel condos and I assure you that all concerns are taken seriously. I'm not sure what the problem was with the entry lock but maintenance said they could not find anything wrong, we were staying there several weeks later and had no problem so that issue is resolved. The toilet is now working fine, the shower curtain is on correctly and we have a new toaster oven. Cable was installed in the guest bedroom in December so there is cable plus DVD and the living room, den, master bedroom and guest bedroom. There is no ice maker in the freezer but there are four ice trays so we not had a problem with enough ice, if we need more ice for filling a large cooler we just go purchase a bag of ice at the Bailey's Convenience store on site. Ceiling fans are scheduled to be installed in the bedrooms in late spring after the busy season is over, we don't have a week available for install before then. We actually purchased two new oscillating fans for the bedrooms to get by until then if anyone need air flow or likes white noise. I appreciate both positive and negative comments from our guests but the negative comments help us get better over time! A new dresser and 55" color TV are in the plans for the master bedroom this spring! Thank you, Erik Munn

The deposit is 20% of the rental rate or $250 whichever is great plus $38.85 ($35 res fee and taxes). Final payment is due by check 30 days prior to arrival.
Cancellation Policy: All cancellations are subject to a cancellation fee of $50.00. If a cancellation occurs outside 90 days prior to arrival the deposit will be refunded less the cancellation fee.
