Thinking of getting away to Northern Michigan this summer, and looking to stay waterfront in a clean, cozy cabin? This is your place! Adorable, original log cabin directly on East Grand Traverse Bay with views of Old Mission Peninsula. Bring your kayaks or canoe, tubes, and water tubes for days of fun! Only 15 minutes from downtown Traverse City, and the excitement of their summer festivals! Also enjoy the wineries of Old Mission Peninsula, the nearby casinos, and endless activities of this area! Even Mackinac Island isn't too far away!
Two twin beds and queen sleeper sofa in living room (one large room). The bathroom has a sink and shower (no tub). TV/DVD. Linens and towels provided (but bring your beach towels and beach chairs!). Nonsmoking. NO LAND LINE. Gas fireplace. Patio, patio furniture, fire pit. Private, shared 253 feet of lake frontage. Summer rentals are Saturday to Saturday.
This cabin was perfect for our family of four with kids age 6 & 4. It is very quite, peaceful and private. The cabin has everything you need to make meals or get carry out and eat on the beach. Close enough to Traverse City for entertainment every day. Easy drive to Sleepy Bear Dunes and Glen Arbor. We loved the location because it put us in driving distance to visit Mackinac Island for one night and two days. Elk Rapids is just around the corner to with shops and resuraunts. The listing says one bedroom but it's actually a studio set up with a large closet/changing room. Didn't bother us but might make a difference to others. The beach acces and property was magnificent. Best vacation is a good while. We will def stay here again if we make it back to Michigan. We have a lot of the states to still see.
Located Northeast of Traverse City in the town of Williamsburg, almost to Elk Rapids. 45 miles from the Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore. Near the National Cherry Festival. 1 hour from Charlevoix.
