About Suzanne O'Flynn

We have lived in the Main Street area for 14 years and chose this area because it is in a trendy neighbourhood close to schools, the famous Queen Elizabeth Park, the brand new Hillcrest community centre, many restaurants, coffee shops, and grocery stores within walking distance, yet only a 10 minute drive to the downtown core. In addition we are 1 block to the Main Street & 41st Ave buses which both connect you within minutes to either the Canada or Expo skytrain line

We have a young family and enjoy all the amenities that our community and Vancouver has to offer.

Guestbook comments from the manager

We loved staying at your house. It was so comfortable, well organized, light, and welcoming and we would absolutely recommend it for others.

Fantastic stay in Vancouver

  • 5 of 5

Our party of 3 stayed on the property for 5 nights, and it was perfect for our needs. Suzanne was a fantastic host, leaving delicious cinnamon rolls for our arrival and providing a 20 page "manual" containing info on the house, surrounding areas, and tons of restaurant recommendations. She was extremely prompt with our questions prior to our stay, and everything in the house was fully prepped for us.

Both bedrooms have plenty of storage and comfortable queen sized beds. The fans provided kept the rooms very cool as we slept. Plenty of towels provided for our stay, and having a washer and dryer was very convenient. There was a small table in the kitchen that sat the 3 of us for breakfast, and the pull out couch was comfortable as well. Everything was extremely clean and well maintained.

The location suited our needs as we did not mind taking public transportation-- the bus and subway system in Vancouver is excellent and easy to navigate. We found several good restaurants in Main Street, just a 10-15 minute walk from the property, or it was easy to hop on the bus to downtown Vancouver. It takes about 30-50 minutes to get to most of the popular sites on public transit such as Stanley Park, Capilano Suspension Bridge, Grouse Mountain, Granville Island, etc.

We had a truly fantastic stay and can't wait to visit again someday.

Great house!

  • 5 of 5

We stayed at Suzanne's house for 4 days during our vacation in the Pacific Northwest. The house is clean, modern, and absolutely adorable!

Our entire family fell in love with Vancouver, it's vibrant downtown, great food, and beautiful Stanley park. Every destination was no more than 15-20 minutes drive from the house.

I wish we could return soon! Thank you, Suzanne!

A Great Home Base for Vancouver Adventures

  • 5 of 5

The house has a good location away from downtown. We enjoyed eating at many restaurants located nearby. It was only a 15 minute drive to downtown Vancouver and 25 minutes for world-class mountain biking on the North Shore. The house itself was well-kept and immaculate with clean bathrooms and an excellent shower. Bath towels were high quality, and bed sheets were clean and crisp. The beds were comfortable. The owner was friendly and happy to answer questions about interesting places to visit. She met us with a box of fresh cinnamon buns from a local bakery, the best we've ever had.

We loved the Vancouver area. During our 6-day visit, we enjoyed wonderful Japanese food almost every night. For sushi, we went to Toshi's, a restaurant only a few blocks from the house. For Japanese yakiniku, we went to GyuKaku a few miles away. For ramen, we went to Santouka in downtown Vancouver on Robson Street. During the day, we spent time hiking and mountain biking in North Vancouver and visited Granville Island, the Van Dusen Botanical Gardens, Stanley Park, the Museum of Anthropology at the University of British Columbia, the Nitobe Memorial Garden and the Capitano Suspension Bridge, all of which were wonderful and interesting places to visit. During the middle of our visit, we traveled north to Whistler for a day of intense downhill mountain biking and hiking at the gorgeous Joffre Lakes, all of which was easy to do on a day trip.

At the end of our trip, we didn't want to leave our perfect little house in Vancouver. You'll feel the same.

Wow! Centrally located home perfect for a family!

  • 5 of 5

What a wonderful place to spend our 4 nights and 5 days in Vancouver. The home was very well stocked and had everything we needed for a family of 5. Beds (even the pull out queen bed!) and linens were very comfortable - we slept so well! Suzanne, the owner, gave us some great suggestions of what to see. We followed her advice and had an amazing time! The home is very, very clean - spotless in fact. When we walked in, the smell of cinnamon buns greeted us - so delicious and what a nice touch! We felt so welcomed! The kids were thrilled to be able to play on the trampoline between the two properties. This 2 story home is very private and was such a great alternative to a hotel or another VRBO that has people above or below you. We can't wait to come back! Can't imagine staying anywhere else in the Vancouver area.

Perfect little coach house

  • 5 of 5

The quaint coach house was just right for my family of 5. From the outside the coach house looks very small but as soon as you step throught the door you realize that it's very roomy. The decor was fresh and bright and the house was very clean. The location is close to stores, restaurants and about a 15 minute drive from downtown Vancouver. Suzanne was the perfect hostess!

We enjoyed the sites of Vancouver especially Granville Island, Lynn Canyon Park, shopping in the gaslight district and an amazing whale watching trip!

I would recommend this Coach house to everyone who want a oozy and comfortable place to stay!

A five star experience

  • 5 of 5

From the moment we inquired about this property it was a great experience. Suzanne responded immediately with all the details in a very friendly and welcoming tone. When we arrived close to midnight, Suzanne was there to greet us with fresh cinnamon buns! She also made it clear if there were any questions we should contact her immediately.

We are frequent visitors to Vancouver and the location was perfect for us. The rooms were all spotlessly clean and nicely decorated. A wonderful retreat in the midst of a busy schedule. We found the serene and quiet of the neighborhood close to trendy Main street to have contributed greatly to a wonderful Vancouver stay. Parking was conveniently located next to the front door.

The well equipped kitchen and a minimum supplies allowed us to enjoy cooking breakfast and starting our day on a great note. The beds were comfortable and bathrooms were well appointed with all the necessary towels, shampoo etc. Comfortable experience all round and a wonderful small pad to call home. We definitely will return.
