Come discover a world of beauty and hospitality at Sedona Suite, a peaceful “bed and make-your-own breakfast,” just outside the Sedona city limits.
This is one of two suites on the property. (To see our other suite, please see listing #936047 on VRBO or HomeAway.)
This lovely studio suite has a top-of-the-line king-sized bed and a balcony with a spectacular view of Pyramid Rock. The suite shares one wall with our home, but it is completely self-contained and private, with its own private entrance.
At the base of Sedona’s majestic Pyramid and Cathedral Rocks, and 10 minutes' drive from the heart of Sedona, this serene location is just a 5-minute stroll from Oak Creek and one of the most photographed spots in Arizona—Red Rock Crossing. Plus, there are over 50 miles of excellent hiking trails in thousands of acres of National Forest right outside the door. This location offers the best of both worlds: a quiet natural setting and just a 10-minute drive to grocery stores, restaurants, etc. in West Sedona.
This property is both luxurious and environmentally friendly, featuring many ecologically sustainable building materials and techniques such as cast earth and straw bale walls and solar heating in the main house and a beautiful living wetland for waste water disposal.
This suite sleeps 2, but we can add a queen-sized Aerobed if desired for a third person for a minimal extra charge.
To see our other suite, please see listing #936047 on VRBO or HomeAway.

I could not possibly recommend Ken and Heather's rental more enthusiastically. The location -- outside of the crowded bustle of downtown but still a short drive to everything -- was perfect and quiet for a weekend retreat. The panoramas on the drive to the property alone are breathtaking and we loved being within walking distance of the iconic Cathedral Rock views. The rental was impeccably clean and perfectly outfitted. We were comfortable and happy for a few days but would have been happy staying in the space for a week if we had the opportunity. Ken and Heather welcomed us warmly and were very helpful in providing recommendations that even exceeded our expectations. When a snowstorm back home prevented us from flying out on time, they were flexible in letting us stay an extra night and check out at an unusual time as we dealt with travel confusion. Thanks, Ken and Heather!
Oh the view of the night sky was amazing from the balcony of this suite. I live in a big city and never ever get to see this wonder! The suite was very well equipped with most comforts of home. Loved having access to walking sticks for our hike. One less thing to pack. And the hiking guide books were so handy! The location was perfect, just a bit remote to be away from crowds and noise but not too far to run to town for meals each day. The hosts are very lovely. I would certainly recommend staying with them at their suite!
This is a great location! The rental has everything you need and you will enjoy staying there.
We had a very nice stay with Ken. He communicated every step of the way and accommodated us when we came in late on Friday night. The room was very well stocked and spotless, and very tastefully decorated. We were in the room very little, but the refrigerator was very nice to have, and the tv had any cable station you could want. In addition, the wifi was excellent! The location was very convenient for us, very close to all the hiking trails, great restaurants downtown, and the national park. I would highly recommend staying here, you won't be disappointed!
We were so happy with out stay in the Pyramid Room where no detail was overlooked, a comfortable king bed and a porch with a view of Pyramid Rock. Ken not only communicated with us about our reservations and directions but greeted us warmly when we arrived and acclimated us to our room. Ken is wealth of information about the area activities, places to see and restaurant tips. He took time with us and helped us with our plans along with all the resource books he had available in the room.
The Red Rock Crossing Park is at the end of the road with a front row view of cathedral rock, exceptional at sunset. The stars shine brighter here too. Highly recommend.
Ken's suite was very comfortable, well-appointed, and situated in a quiet and sheltered neighborhood. He and his lovely dog were very welcoming and he had a wealth of information on everything we needed from good biking stores and guides to restaurants and a great massage therapist right next door. Having access to laundry and bike storage was terrific and the walks and biking even right out the door were special. Highly recommended.
Sedona was voted the most beautiful place in America by USA Today's Weekend Edition, It is hard to find a place better suited for outdoor activities than Sedona. There are miles & miles of hiking & biking trails amid the red rocks of Sedona & huge expanses of National Forest where you can get away from people & enjoy nature, However, don't underestimate the indoor activity as Sedona is one of the top places in the world for viewing & buying art and jewelry.
