Come discover a world of beauty and hospitality at Sedona Suite, a peaceful “bed and make-your-own breakfast,” just outside the Sedona city limits.
This is one of two suites on the property. (To see our other suite, please see listing #936047 on VRBO or HomeAway.)
This lovely studio suite has a top-of-the-line king-sized bed and a balcony with a spectacular view of Pyramid Rock. The suite shares one wall with our home, but it is completely self-contained and private, with its own private entrance.
At the base of Sedona’s majestic Pyramid and Cathedral Rocks, and 10 minutes' drive from the heart of Sedona, this serene location is just a 5-minute stroll from Oak Creek and one of the most photographed spots in Arizona—Red Rock Crossing. Plus, there are over 50 miles of excellent hiking trails in thousands of acres of National Forest right outside the door. This location offers the best of both worlds: a quiet natural setting and just a 10-minute drive to grocery stores, restaurants, etc. in West Sedona.
This property is both luxurious and environmentally friendly, featuring many ecologically sustainable building materials and techniques such as cast earth and straw bale walls and solar heating in the main house and a beautiful living wetland for waste water disposal.
This suite sleeps 2, but we can add a queen-sized Aerobed if desired for a third person for a minimal extra charge.
To see our other suite, please see listing #936047 on VRBO or HomeAway.

We did not buy it, I built it with my own two hands. Come share it with us.

We had a very nice stay with Ken. He communicated every step of the way and accommodated us when we came in late on Friday night. The room was very well stocked and spotless, and very tastefully decorated. We were in the room very little, but the refrigerator was very nice to have, and the tv had any cable station you could want. In addition, the wifi was excellent! The location was very convenient for us, very close to all the hiking trails, great restaurants downtown, and the national park. I would highly recommend staying here, you won't be disappointed!
We were so happy with out stay in the Pyramid Room where no detail was overlooked, a comfortable king bed and a porch with a view of Pyramid Rock. Ken not only communicated with us about our reservations and directions but greeted us warmly when we arrived and acclimated us to our room. Ken is wealth of information about the area activities, places to see and restaurant tips. He took time with us and helped us with our plans along with all the resource books he had available in the room.
The Red Rock Crossing Park is at the end of the road with a front row view of cathedral rock, exceptional at sunset. The stars shine brighter here too. Highly recommend.
Ken's suite was very comfortable, well-appointed, and situated in a quiet and sheltered neighborhood. He and his lovely dog were very welcoming and he had a wealth of information on everything we needed from good biking stores and guides to restaurants and a great massage therapist right next door. Having access to laundry and bike storage was terrific and the walks and biking even right out the door were special. Highly recommended.
My husband and I wanted to stay in Sedona for a couple nights somewhere close to trails but not too far from town. The Pyramid room was perfect - quiet, well-appointed and spacious. Ken was a gracious and helpful host. The house is very close to a beautiful view of famous Cathedral Rock. I also visited the masseuse next door, Kelly, which I highly recommend as a treat for your legs and back after days of hiking. She was very professional and friendly. We would certainly return!
This was our first experience with a VRBO in Arizona and we are jumping with joy to report that it set the bar very high for any VRBO property that we stay at in the future. The details in the reviews written by other guests of this property are spot on and so true! Yes the property oozes beauty, privacy, charm & comfort but ALL of it's the beauty, privacy, charm & comfort is a direct result of its owners. That's what makes this property such an exceptional place to stay in the great southwest. It is evident before you even step out of your vehicle that you are entering a magical setting created especially for you by Ken & Heather. They built this property and made it into a slice of heaven of which they unselfishly share with others. Their passion for people, animals and nature coupled with their positive energy is evident in every detail. Not much can top viewing a loved one "un-plug", completely relax and submerse themselves in the beauty & tranquility that this property and its adjacent surroundings has to offer its guests. This property is so AWESOMELY located, that you can literally walk out the front door and begin hiking in a variety of locations. We will write no more so that YOU (a future guest) can make your reservations and subsequently write your own review using superlative adjectives and joyful verbs that will be bouncing out of you at the complettion of your stay in the Pyramid Rock Suite. You will leave a better person. We did!! This amazing VRBO created with love by its owners (Ken & Heather) is truly Bucket List material. Seek joy always! Warmly, K. & S. Richardson
My husband and I just spent 2 wonderful nights at your suite! It was so nice to have some quiet time in your comfortable suite after bouncing around from Phoenix to downtown, while still being able to get in some nice hikes. Thanks so much Heather for all of your advice on trails to take. We really enjoyed the Doe Mountain trail and the view was awesome!! Your suite felt very homey and your grounds are beautiful. Also, THANK YOU for getting a call to us right away when we accidentally left our backpack behind after checking out! You were a lifesaver!! I would give this suite a thumbs up for comfort, quiet, nice outdoor space, great info on trails plus the use of your trail pass!
Sedona was voted the most beautiful place in America by USA Today's Weekend Edition, It is hard to find a place better suited for outdoor activities than Sedona. There are miles & miles of hiking & biking trails amid the red rocks of Sedona & huge expanses of National Forest where you can get away from people & enjoy nature, However, don't underestimate the indoor activity as Sedona is one of the top places in the world for viewing & buying art and jewelry.
