About Stacey and Shellie Seering
My wife and I have lived in the Duluth area for 16 years and love all it has to offer, everything from a mountainous hike to a fabulous meal and classic play downtown. Our home is on the same property as the guest house and we are around to help with any questions or needs during your stay.
Stacey and Shellie Seering purchased this House in 2012
Why Stacey and Shellie Seering chose Palmers
This is truly an enchanted piece of property which causes instant relaxation upon your arrival. Our previous guests have described Singing Waters as "magical." We have, and you will fall in love with Singing Waters!
What makes this House unique
The property is located on the best section of the Sucker River that has its own private swimming hole and waterfalls. The constant sound of the river is calming and peaceful. A very short hike (300 feet) downstream brings you to over 150 acres of state land and hiking.

Beautiful retreat near the North Shore!
This place made for a magical, relaxing vacation for my family. The location is ideal... secluded, yet close to Duluth and Two Harbors. The accommodations are comfortable, clean and well appointed. The property is beautiful and offers so many things to do (hiking in the woods, exploring along the river, hammocks, yard games, fire pit). My two small children were both disappointed when our time ended and are asking when we can visit Singing Waters again. We will be back!
We loved hosting your family! We look forward to your next visit. Consider Singing Waters YOUR Duluth home...we’ll just keep it ready for you.

Magical North Shore Experience
Singing Waters exceeded our high expectations- The grounds were amazing for our kids to explore. They loved the Lincoln Log Library, the beautiful falls (we didn’t even need to visit Gooseberry), and fun scavenger hunt in the woods. The bonfire pit was great and the yard was stocked with yard games (kerplunk and bags). The cabin was very clean and had plenty of room. We are looking forward to staying again in the future!
Thank you for your glowing review! We absolutely love having families come to stay with us. I’m sorry about the weather- wish I control that :), but your sweet family made the best of it and really experienced all that Singing Waters offers. We’d love to have you stay with us again anytime. Thank you also for leaving the guesthouse in such clean condition. You were the perfect guests.

Singing Waters is a great place to stay!
We are beyond happy with our stay here while on vacation in Duluth! The location is excellent because it’s close enough to to town to be convenient but also far enough away to let you feel like you are getting away from it all. The guest house is amazing! You can tell that the hosts put a lot of time and care into making it a fun and comfortable place to relax. There is also a scavenger hunt that they put together that will make exploring the 19 acres of trails a lot of fun, especially for kids! The water located a short walk away is fantastic for exploring as well and you can hear the rapids from the guest house. To top it all off the hosts, Stacey and Shellie were amazing! We felt very welcome and taken care of during our stay. If we vacation in Duluth again we won’t hesitate to stay with them again!
Thank you for taking time to write a review, Josh. We sure loved having your family stay with us. Please think of us as ‘your’ Duluth house. We’ll keep it ready for you.

Singing Waters is such a quaint and unique property. We enjoyed a few days away as a family visiting the North Shore. This location was right between Two Harbors and Duluth which was perfect! Everything was taken care of and so easy. We’ll definitely be back 😉
So easy to decompress at Singing Waters. We had beautiful weather, but even if we had been stuck inside Singing Waters had everything we needed to simply sit back and enjoy.
That’s what we love to hear! So glad to got to relax and reconnect, we sure loved having you here. You’re welcome to come back anytime.
Very clean and spacious
We booked this cabin last minute for a family get-away. It's easy to find and tucked away in a quiet spot in the hills outside Duluth. You'll find it to be more house than cabin- it's not rustic other than the location. All the comforts of home, really. Outside fire pit w/ chairs and games promote being outdoors. Owners were kind and available. Only minor gripe was that it was not disclosed that the owners live in a house right next to this spot. I should have caught that it is described as "Guest House", so that's probably on me anyway. For sure take the short hike to see the river - it's pretty spectacular. In all the Singing Waters House will not disappoint -- a very well done rental experience!
Thank you for the nice review. You captured all we like to offer our guests.
You’re correct that the guest house is a converted art studio and we live on the same 19 acres. We think having the garage between our house and the guesthouse allows our guests privacy with great private views of the pond and woods. We like being able to interact with our guests only as much as they like or need.
We’d love for you to stay with us anytime you’re in the Duluth area.

Singing Water Guest House provides you the peace and quiet of a relaxing getaway while being close enough to enjoy all that Duluth and the Northshore has to offer. In Duluth you'll find unique shops, ship watching on Lake Superior, and enjoy excellent dining with many options. Why not see a show at the DECC, visit one of the many breweries Duluth is becoming known for, take in a concert at Bayfront Park, or tour the Congdon Mansion? Brighton Beach is a fabulous spot for sea glass and agate hunting along with a paved walk/bike path all the way to Canal Park . Are you brave enough to dip your toes in the frigid waters of the World's Largest Fresh Water Lake? A drive up Scenic Highway 61 along Lake Superior is an adventure not to miss! On your way up the gorgeous shore visit tourist sights such as Goosberry Falls (26 miles), Betty's Pies (15 miles), Lutsen Ski Mountain and Hiking (76 miles), Splitrock Lighthouse (33 miles), or find your own 'special spot'.
