This two bedroom, two bathroom end unit is located in the prestigious Ocean Sands Condominiums facility in Madeira Beach, Florida directly on the Gulf of Mexico. The facility is quiet, well maintained, and family- or adult-friendly.
You can find lower priced units on the beach but not many that are better located, better maintained, better equipped, and more comfortable than this unit.
This is a north tower, north end unit with side windows that provide a sweeping view of the Gulf of Mexico and the intracoastal waterway. The side windows provide an enhanced view of the sunsets and beach area.
The unit is 1200 square feet (111 square metres) and provides plenty of room for relaxing and enjoying time at the beach.
Free wired or wireless internet is included. Telephone service in the condo includes unlimited free calls to numbers in the USA and Canada.
The kitchen provides a full-size refrigerator with ice maker, electric stove, microwave, dishwasher, coffee pot, kettle, blender, toaster, chef quality cookware, and a side bar for quick dining.
The dining area includes a full-size dining room table with chairs and a side window view of the Gulf of Mexico.
The laundry room provides a full-size washer, dryer, iron, and ironing board.
The living area includes a couch, love seat, reclining chair, a new flat screen HD cable TV with a DVD player, and sliding glass doors that open onto the 30 foot balcony overlooking the white sand beach and the Gulf of Mexico.
The master bedroom includes a King sized bed with extra pillows, cable TV with a VCR, a walk-in closet, hair dryer, and a full-sized bathroom with two sinks, a separate toilet and bath room with a new tiled walk-in shower. Direct access to the 30 foot balcony is by sliding glass doors.
The second bedroom sleeps three persons on one Queen and one Twin bed, has a full size closet, and cable TV. Adjacent to the second bedroom is a three-piece bathroom. Unit sleeps 5 persons in beds (as seen in the photos) and 1 on an air mattress bed.
Chairs and tables are provided for the balcony and some beach toys are available in the balcony storage room. Beach chairs and beach towels are also provided in the unit.
Access to the pool area and beach is by keyed gates for use by residents and guests only. Keypad entries to the building.
One reserved, covered parking space is provided with the unit and additional parking is available in front of the building.
*Attractions and Amenities*
Restaurants are plentiful within walking distance or by using the Suncoast Trolley, which passes in front of the unit every 30 minutes or so daily. A grocery store and pharmacy are available directly across the street from the unit. Many other dining and shopping options are accessible within a short drive – recommendations gladly available upon request.
Nearby attractions include Johns Pass shopping and restaurants, Treasure Island, St. Pete Beach, and downtown St. Petersburg is a short drive away.
Five-minute walk to municipal baseball fields, basketball courts, tennis courts, library, and playground equipment.
Take in one of several professional sports, including the Tampa Bay Lightning (NHL hockey, Oct-Apr), Tampa Bay Rays (MLB, baseball – Apr-Sept), and Tampa Bay Buccaneers (NFL football – Sept-Dec), as well as Spring Training Baseball in March (Blue Jays, Yankees, Phillies, Orioles, and Pirates are nearby).
Easily accessible from Tampa Int’l Airport (25 miles/40 km) and St. Pete-Clearwater Int’l Airport (13 miles/21 km). Less than a 2 hour drive to Walt Disney World attractions (95 miles/153 km) and Orlando (110 miles/177 km).

Thank you Jeff for offering your home to us. We missed nothing. It was a perfect large apartment for us, our 3 kids also loved it.
We had chairs, towels and lots more for the beach and the pool. We had everything we needed in the kitchen and in the bathrooms.
We loved to use the barbecue on the balcony, watching the sea. The Apartment is close to all kind of shops you need and also to a lot of restaurants. Once we had a question and Jeff called us a few minutes later to help us. Perfect.
We had 2 great weeks and we will come back.
We vacationed for two weeks at Madeira Beach and stayed in Jeff's condominium. From the very first time I inquired about the property, Jeff was extremely responsive. The unit was perfect! One couldn't ask for a better location. There is a Winn Dixie, CVS and Dollar Tree across the street (within walking distance). Next door is a great little place to eat (they serve drinks and snow cones too!). The unit is very clean and well maintained. Jeff has provided high quality cookware which is a plus with a rental. There are plenty of nice beach towels available for the guest to use. The bedrooms are very spacious. Jeff even called to check on us during our stay. I loved how Jeff emailed us before our trip with resturaunts and things to do in the area. I am so glad to have found this unit - we will definitely be returning! Thanks Jeff!
We recently stayed at oceans sands and I must say it was beautiful! The condo was clean and spacious with an amazing view! There were more than enough beach towels and plenty of beach chairs and things to use in the water. The condo was fully stocked and very welcoming. The owner of the condo phoned us to see if everything was ok and if we needed anything. We will be booking a stay for next year without hesitation!
Recently spent two weeks at Ocean Sands. The weather was terrific, the beach is quite lovely, the accommodations were perfect - all necessary amenities!! The condo is welcoming and spacious, well equipped and very light and airy. The owner is very accessible and even phoned to ensure there were no issues. Looking forward to another visit.
The condo was excellent, a home from home. It is spacious with good furnishings, is well equiped and is virtually on the beach. I particulary enjoyed having free internet with printer. The owner, a really nice guy, seems to have thought of everything to make stays here as enjoyable as possible. Easy access to restaurants and bars accross the road was a plus for us due to the unusually appalling weather, whilst we were there. The locals never tired of telling us it had been the worse November weather for over 25 years.
Inspite of the bad weather we still had a great vacation mainly due to this brilliant condo and it's location.
No review of this property would be complete without mentioning the spectacular sea views from the balcony, where we witnessed many incredible sunsets.
We just returned from the Ocean Sands. We were a family of four and had a marvellous time. The condo is spacious, clean, lovely and beautifully maintained. It literally had everything we needed. The beach is gorgeous. The views are a little taste of heaven. We can't wait to return and recommend it to all our friends and family. The owner Jeff is super nice and very welcoming. We couldn't be happier with our stay.
