Vacasa - Vacation Rentals Made Easy:
Professionally managed and cleaned homes
Local assistance 24/7 for emergencies
Secure INSTANT booking
Thanks for considering a Vacasa home! We provide full-service management for privately owned vacation homes, and like to think that we offer our guests the best of both worlds: the unique experience of staying in a one-of-a-kind vacation home, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the home you book for your special vacation is cared for by professional housekeepers and property managers.
Vacasa began in 2009, simply because our founder and CEO Eric wanted to find a better way to share his wife’s family’s summer home in Long Beach, Washington with guests as a vacation rental. Eric and his early team worked to build Vacasa on the premise that local employees can do what they love most (taking care of guests, homeowners, and properties), while the hands-off tasks of vacation rental management—things like marketing, filing taxes, and maintaining a website—could be handled by a specialized central support team.
Our passion is connecting travelers with the unique experience of staying in a vacation home, and we would be honored to be your host. Please contact us with any questions about this home—our team is standing by!
Good location, spacious 1 bedroom condo. Sufficient kitchen.
Overall easy process . Property was nice other than a few minor maintainence issues
I enjoyed staying at this condo. Great location and very nice condition. We really enjoy visiting Bend. Maybe I am just getting old, but it seemed to be rather expensive considering there was no elevator or in-room laundry. All things considered, I will likely return.
The property is in a building that looks like it was at one point motel rooms or maybe very small condos that have been converted to bigger units. The outside of the building and the hallways are a bit run down so don't expect anything too fancy. Think off-brand motel. Inside the unit they've done a recent renovation and the finishes are nice but the overall feel is that it may have been a bit rushed.
My bigger concerns, though, were with the property management and the listing. I received a welcome email on the day I checked in and when I noticed that the wifi password wasn't working I responded asking for help. Nobody ever got back to me by the time my stay was over so I basically didn't get wifi. I tried from several different devices without any luck and suspect that the wifi password had recently changed but they hadn't updated their welcome emails.
Also, the listing clearly says in the text that there is a washer and dryer. There were none in the unit, which was a bummer. The fridge had a water hookup but for some reason that wasn't working. That's not a big deal in general but the ice machine kept trying to make ice without any water and made some fairly loud noises on a regular basis. The AC units were quite complicated to operate and I figured them out eventually but it would have helped to have instructions of some sort.
The unit was pretty clean overall but both shower curtains had mold stains on them, which is pretty unappealing.
Overall I think it's an okay place for the money but don't have high expectations. The location is near downtown and it's just a short walk or bike ride to get to the restaurants and shops, which is nice. If you set your expectations that you're checking into a motel room which happens to have a kitchen you'll have the right mindset.
My wife and I lived in Bend for 7 years and never really noticed this place. Great location, quite and beautiful.
