View amazing. Clean, comfortable. A little further outside of Gatlinburg than we like. Kind of surprised that they ask you to take your trash with you when you leave and bring it a few miles down the road to a trash receptacle. Overall a wonderful experience!!!
We are glad to hear you enjoyed your stay with Cramers Creekside Cabins and look forward to your return. Since there are is so much wildlife in the Smoky Mountains such as bears, coyotes, bobcats, deer, raccoons and more we ask our guests to take their trash to the one of many convenient centers for their protection.
While we had a few minor, unexpected issues, Dan was great to deal with and we would gladly rent from Craven's Creek again. We had the adventure of having a big Mama bear and 3 cubs walk along the bottom deck! That was crazy! Loved having access to the pools..and overall, we had a great time staying here.
Great spacious cabin
This cabin was awesome. Lots of space and the view was spectacular!
Thank you for the kind review we look forward to seeing you soon.
Property was what we expected. Having three bedrooms and being close to Gatlinburg was great! It could use updating but we had a nice stay.
The views, the location, the atmosphere everything was amazing. From the office staff to the experience was amazing. Perfect distance away from everything but not to far from the fun. Weill definitely be there again!!
Beautiful view with terrible housekeeping
First the positives. The view was beautiful. The beds were comfortable and the linens were clean. The reason for the low review score is the terrible maintenance and housekeeping. The wallpaper was peeling in places. There were spider webs in the corners. And a coating of dust was everywhere, from the window sills to the tacky wreaths to the picture frames to the bathroom fixtures. It appeared to not have been properly dusted for years. The carpet was not vacuumed either. The stairs had crumbs and debris on them and the downstairs carpeting was dirty. There was dust, food, bugs and debris on the kitchen floor behind the rolling cart that the microwave is on. We were fine with the cabin being slightly further away than desirable. And we were fine with the outdated country decor. But when we saw the state of the cleanliness and repairs we were extremely disappointed. We also had to leave the key in the lockbox whenever we left the cabin, which made us feel like anyone with the combination could enter at any time. Not terrible but not a great feeling.
Many guest reviews before and after your stay were 4 and 5 stars...
Stay in a hotel and most all employees have access to your room.
We ask you to leave the key in the lock box so you do not lock yourself out, lose the key or incur an expensive locksmith charge.
We appreciate both positive and negative reviews as we are always trying to improve the Smoky Mountain experience. However mean reviews are just a waste of time.
