A Quiet Get-away... The Queen bed in the Master Bedroom with its 600 thread count sheets, down comforter, and memory foam mattress topper will capture you and make it hard to get out of the bed in the morning! But with the coffee pot and kitchen only steps away... SOMEBODY has to get up and start the morning!
The large back deck is perfect for morning coffee or an afternoon BBQ using the charcoal Weber BBQ. The upstairs two bedrooms with their three twin beds are a great place for kids to play or teenagers to flop out....AND there is a TV/DVD player for them too!
High speed internet and cable TV on the 46" flat screen in the living room makes staying in when the weather gets windy and rainy the consolation prize. An extremely comfortable recliner and a matching love seat (both sides recline too!) will make watching football or a movie on the DVD player with a glass of wine after a full day of shopping or walking on the beach the highlight of the day.

I have found over the years I have really come to enjoy being a "hostess". Every time I get to go over to my little house, the first thing I do is read the guest book. (BTW, there IS a blender now for margaritas!)
Sharon ODonnell purchased this cottage in 2002
I have been coming to Lincoln City since cutting class in high school. I have watched the city grow and mature and wanted to have a home here to enjoy the area as much as possible.
NO PHONE! Boy, do I love that the best!
Cable TV and a 46" flat screen!
High speed internet!
Newly remodeled bathroom with a custom tiled walk in shower....Oh My!

I finally have a minute to let you know what a wonderful time our family had at the Lincoln City house over Christmas. It could not be a better set-up for us! Everything from the kitchen to the dog pen to the really comfy master bed (it was hard for me not to want
to spend more time there reading ;-)) was such a pleasure!! The kids had a great time, and my husband actually relaxed too!
Anyway, we tried to leave it as clean as we found it (with the exception of a clean load of dishes and towels in the dryer. I just didn't have time to finish and get them put away). We are hoping to be able to rent it again sometime later in 2006!! I also have told some of our friends about it (but not too many as I don't want it rented all up :-D).
Thanks again for a terrific house and have a great new year!
This is a wonderful little house just 2 blocks from the ocean. It's in a very quiet neighborhood and has everything you need for your stay at the beach. Sharon is wonderful too and is very easy to get a hold of and make reservations with. We had our Thanksgiving dinner there this year and it was perfect. We were able to cook a full meal and have a relaxing time at the beach as well.
Had our doubts about coming for our weekend when the weather report made it out to be the worst winter storm since 1962. No worries, the house was warm, dry and cozy. We had a wonderful time and will definitely be coming back again. Perfect size for 3 of us, but could accommodate several more and still be comfortable. Easy access to shopping, groceries and restaurants. Easy to find the house and close access to the beach (even though the weather made it disappear). Thanks for sharing your home with us.
I believe the house could certainly been cleaner, hair behind furniture, couch blankets smell like dog, picture had fallen but was sitting against wall. Porch was sandy, bits to big particles of garbage outside, top of frig and place mats greasy. I sure don't think this should be published but I think owner needs to know.
The house was everything we hoped for. The listing description was accurate. The place was clean and everything was in working order. The owner was very responsive to all of my questions. The neighborhood is quiet.
Clean, spacious, and clear instructions. Really happy with the stay. Thanks!
Sharon's beach house was a sweet little retreat for our family of four. It was two blocks to the beach and we were able to walk down with our two small kids in the mornings. The kitchen provided ample appliances for us to cook our meals.
Pros: Sharon was great at communicating. She was fast and polite. Proximity to beach, well-stocked, furnished and new bathroom! :-) Clean beds and towels.
Cons: No heat upstairs and it was super cold at night. Sharon did tell me there was a space heater, but we moved the baby downstairs before we could find it. The house really needs a deep cleaning, as there was dust and spiders throughout the house. The couch had stuffing coming out of one of the arms (maybe a previous guest's dog tore it apart?). Dog hair and dirt on area rugs....not great when you have a crawling baby.
