Excellent apartment

This is a very well-equipped, modern apartment with a pleasant outside balcony that catches the sun throughout the day. The security of the apartment and the complex is excellent and the overall external environment is fairly quiet, with just a little noise from the adjacent school during the day and a few planes passing overhead during the daytime/evening - but nothing that impairs enjoyment of the apartment.

Philippe is a very welcoming host and takes a lot of trouble to ensure everything is perfect for the duration of the stay.

The only words of warning are that, as others have said, the apartment is on a fairly steep hill which might make it challenging for older or disabled people. Unfortunately the shops are at the bottom of this hill, requiring an uphill journey laden with any daily shopping.

The bus services around Nice are good, but again most of these buses go from the foot of the hill. We found it was necessary to allow around 35/40 minutes to get reliably from the apartment to the centre of Nice. If the hill is too challenging, it is possible to catch the very regular No 12 bus service, which stops further up the hill and only involves a downhill walk to the apartment. However, the best place to catch this service in Nice is outside the main railway station, an area which is a bit run-down and off-putting.

Whilst a car is certainly not necessary if your plan is to remain within the Nice area, it would be useful if you want to use the apartment as a base to explore the wider Cote d'Azur. In fact, the apartment has very easy road access to Antibes, Cannes, etc and would be an ideal location for travelling in the area.

We enjoyed our stay and, with the above provisos about access and transport, would heartily recommend the apartment.

Great Apt, Good Location

This is a big, well equipped apt in a modern building. It is very quiet and secure. It is several km from othe heart of nice but buses run very often and are close by and cheap. Owner was friendly and helpful. Good value for Nice, which is expensive.

Appartement très agéable, très bien situé, avec tout le confort que l'on peut attendre. Un accueil parfait de la part du propriétaire d'une gentillesse inégalée, qui nous a expliqué tout ce que l'on pouvait faire dans les environs. Le petit plus, un garage privatif, ce qui est non négligeable sur Nice. Au plaisir de vous revoir, et encore merci.

Schöne große Ferienwohnung mit kleinem Garten

Die Wohnung hat alle unseren Erwartungen erfüllt.

Der kleine Garten ist super für kleine Kinder, weil sie da auch mal unbeaufsichtigt spielen können. Es liegt ganz am Ende der Bucht von Nizza, dort sind zwei Beachvolleyball Plätze. Am 2.10. war die Saison vorbei und ab dann konnte man am Strand auf den Sandfelder anstatt der Kieselsteine liegen. Das Wasser ist nach ein paar Meter schon tief genug zum schwimmen (für kleinkinder nicht geeignet), aber es gibt z.B. in Antibes einen super Sandstrand.

Die Wohnung liegt zwar auf einem steilen Berg, aber es gibt einen Bus der von der Promenade direkt vor die Haustür fährt. Unten gibt es auch direkt einen großen Supermarkt neben der Bushaltestelle.

Wir haben alle Ausflüge gut mit dem Nahverkehr machen können.

Der Vermieter ist sehr freundlich und würde einem auch vom Flughafen abholen/bringen, oder zu Ausflugzielen fahren, zu denen man ohne Auto sonst nicht hinkommt.

Ia ora na !! En vacances en métropole , venant de Tahiti, nous avons passé une très belle semaine à Nice dans cet appartement calme et bien exposé, qui ressemble à une villa. La disponibilité et la gentillesse du propriétaire Philippe nous a facilité la visite des spots culturels de la ville. Super séjour!

It is easy to go to the nearest beach (450m)

and the city center is 10 minutes by bus.

A private secure garage 6 meters long can park easily.

Shops, restaurants and supermarkets are below the residence just before the 'Promenade des Anglais'.

A small station very convenient to get to Monaco or Cannes is 1 km away.

You will find a lot of documentation in the apartment for a successful holiday:

discovery of high and medium countries, how to discover little-known beaches of the French Riviera, practice the canyons of the department, go to the 'Mercantour' Park, take a glass of rosé in St Paul de Vence

or get drunk market fragrance of the flowers 'Saleya' in Nice.
