I am a San Francisco native and can provide you with tons of information about San Francisco and how to make the most of your stay! We are big foodies and can give some great restaurant recommendations! I love SF and will never leave. I love to share what this great city has to offer with other visitors.
Angel Pong purchased this apartment in 2000
Hayes Valley is one of the hottest neighborhoods in SF. It is not quite hipster or trendy, but remains unique in it's own way. Love this property because it is located on a very quiet street, within a busy neighborhood.
If you are coming to San Francisco to experience all the food, music and culture- this is the right home base for you. Grab a Blue Bottle coffee in the morning, check out the Asian Art Museum during the day. Grab some lunch at one of the many outdoor cafes then an early dinner at Nojo before hearing live music at the SF Jazz Center.
Our family of five stayed a week in this Hayes Valley apartment. It's a small one bedroom apartment with a pull out couch in the livingroom. Our three children range in age from 23 to 12 and between the bed in the livingroom and a super comfortable full size airmatress, that Anjal provided, the kid sleep fine. The apartment was very clean and the kitchen was well supplied. The apartment is on a quiet street but is very close to some great restaurants. We mainly used the MUNI buses to get around the city and the apartment was within walking distance to the bus stops. We also had a rental car for a few days and were able to find parking on the street with no problem. There was a little bit of noice from the apartment above but that's to be expected with apartment living. Anjal was always quick to respond to any email questions prior to our visit and responded to any concerns while we were there. We would recommend this apartment to anyone visiting San Francisco.
We had a wonderful visit in San Francisco. Anjal's apartment was perfect for a our needs. It had a well equipped kitchen, comfortable sleeping and relaxing rooms. It was as clean as a pin when we arrived, and is on a quiet street one block from the center of Hayes Valley's main shopping area. Anjal was a great host making sure that we had everything that we needed.
We chose this rental flat because of its proximity to the San Francisco Opera, which we were attending while in town. It was extremely convenient to the War Memorial Opera House, but also the symphony and all public transportation. Although I had reserved a rental car, I canceled the reservation because we could take the bus and streetcar everywhere. There were many restaurants in the neighborhood. The property was very well-equipped and clean. The WiFi worked very well. The owner was always very responsive to emails. Because of a key lockbox, we were able to check in late. We definitely would rent this property again.
Our stay in Hayes Valley was very pleasant. There were many shops and restaurants in the neigberhood. We were lucky that we had our own driver from San Francisco, she was our reason to visit SF. The apartment was clean and everything we needed was there. The bed was very good, and the bathroom very complete. Our familymember in SF did have severeal times contact with Anjal, what always went well. She even brought an airbed, when we needed one.
Hayes Valley is a lovely part in SF, quiet and nice.
Great location for exploring the city; walking distance from everything. Loved the Hayes Valley neighborhood. However, the Civic Center area is nearby and although it is a beautiful area to explore, there are many itinerants/drug addicts in this part of town - not too pleasant to cross on the way to and from the apartment.
Apartment was clean and beds and pillows were comfortable.
Anjal was a great hostess.
We had a wonderful stay in Hayes Valley. Anjal's apartment is lovely. It was very clean and very comfortable. We cooked two meals, but it was more fun sampling the many diverse restaurants in the area. Transportation is convenient and there are shops to browse very close to the apartment. Anjal was prompt in answering our questions and a very good host.
