This Brand New, 6 bedroom/5 bath home with Elevator features a large Tropical Heated Pool, Swim Up Table, and covered patio by pool area with unbelievable water views, and a deep-water dock. Great location only a block to the beach, a short walk to the Gulf Drive Cafe and many other shops and restaurants on Historic Bridge Street, and steps to the Trolley Stop. Sleeps up to 14 people.

Beautiful, clean property.
Arrived Saturday to a beautiful, clean property.
We were suprised how well stocked the kitchen was, from KitchenAid mixer down to Sandwich maker with everything in between, with fondue pot as well. Grill was spotless, no cleaning required. Most meals for 14 prepared on site. Plenty of dishware. 2 refrigerators( 1 downstairs).
Both king and the queen bedrooms were spacious with very nice showers. Others bedrooms a little cramped, but adequate. Bathroom for single and double bed across hall near kitchen. Jack and Jill bath for rooms with 4 bunks and full bed(picture shows futon.)
Patio and pool very nice, not a whole lot of room for 14 people. Pool area shaded by 2 pm in December, but a short walk to beach (300ish yards) to spend the rest of afternoon and enjoy the sunset.
Weather was beautiful, mid to high 70's week before Christmas.
Downfall we had was hot water heater not large enough for multiple showers at once. That being said, would not stop us from staying again.
The rental company easy to work with. We had an issue with pool water temp cooling down. We called company, a repair man was there within 30 minutes and the pool heated back up within a few hours.

Could be 5 stars with a little work
This home has huge potential for a large family's wonderful vacation. The 6 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms give everyone room to spread out with plenty of privacy. The location, right on the water, offers fantastic views and even wonderful glimpses of dolphins right near the dock.
However, this home has several problems that should be addressed before my family will rent again. The most pressing issue is the presence of mold in the master bedroom. The air conditioning vent in the master bath was surrounded and covered in mold, indicating a very real concern of air quality. The bedroom had been freshly painted, however in the corners and around the woodwork the mold was growing back.
From the pool entry into the home, the first floor area smells strongly of urine. There is no bathroom on this floor either, so anyone needing the restroom has to go upstairs to the main living area. There is an extra refrigerator on this floor which is helpful for storing drinks needed out on the dock or pool area. However, the rest of this floor is in need of serious attention to make it functional. A futon is on this floor also but it looked pretty terrible.
The main living area is lovely. Although the couches could use new slipcovers. The kitchen is well equipped and the views are great. The large porch overlooking the pool and dock area is great with plenty of nice furniture.
All the beds are comfortable with the exception of the bunk beds. Although those mattresses may be meant for children, our daughter and her husband slept in the bottom bunks sharing the room with 2 of their children in the top bunks. She said the mattresses were very uncomfortable. All beds should have mattresses for the comfort of all guests.
The pool area is beautiful with lots of seating but many of the cushions and chairs were so old and dirty they left black marks on your clothing. We quickly learned to only sit on them with towels.
With some time and attention this home could easily deserve 5 stars. The potential is great but our family will wait to see if the issues described above are addressed before renting again.
Hi and thank you for your feedback. Casa Del Sol has had many repeat guests that continue to enjoy the home, heated pool, breathtaking views and proximity to the beach. As your group departed, the items you mentioned in your review were also noted on your feedback form that was turned into our office. We immediately sent our maintenance personnel to the home to meet with the owner. A walk through of the property was completed to find that the mold listed on the AC vent was found to be more of a condensation issue that collected debris versus a mold issue. The AC vents have been cleaned and the issue has been discussed with the cleaning crew. Also mentioned was a smell of urine that we were not able to detect, but to insure this is not an issue going forward, the entire entry area was cleaned with bleach. With all properties, regular deep cleaning and ongoing maintenance are required to keep them in top shape. This is our goal to insure a great experience for all of our guests at Casa Del Sol and Anna Maria Island.
The owner of this home takes great pride in every detail and amenity. You will want to come back year after year!
