Overview

About the property

1 bedroom, huge.sleeps 4 Plus Arabic corner in the sitting room

Very large 198metre 1 bedroom flat located 5 minutes drive from the famous port of Puerto Banus in Marbella. (THERE IS A VIDEO ON THE LISTING). The property comprises of a large sitting room, with double bed under the net. A kitchen with all mod cons, including dish washer. 98m2 west facing terrace with sea views of GIBRALTAR, MOROCCO and of course fabulous mountain views.

The terrace is 3 times the size of what you see and great views of tropical gardens down below which are all lit up in the evening. There are 3 pools (1baby pool). Kids playground and 2 raquet courts. The complex also has 24 hour security and is very peaceful and secure parking outside.. You are walking distance to San Pedro which is an interesting bustling town where you can eat out and enjoy a typical Spanish atmosphere. If you want to go to Marbella, it is a ten minute drive, and maybe the same time on the bus, as it is a straight road with not much traffic until you get into town. On the way, you will pass Marbella Club, Puento Romano, and many more luxurious hotels and apartments

BACK AT THE COMPLEX... As you come out of reception you will see on you left a road. At the top of that road is a typical Spanish village called LA CAMPANA. Worth a visit. Prices in restaurants and shops are incredibly good value compared to Banus. If you walk up there, don't tease the cows, they are aggressive ba....s with horns and beady eyes. They will charge, but don't worry they are behind the fence. (Never used to be}?

The weather in The Costa Del Sol is sensational, as it has a micro climate If you love sport, especially tennis and golf. You will be in heaven, as there are golf, tennis and paddle clubs, within walking distance. I have lived on and off in Banus for the last thirteen years. The quality of life here is amazing. I don't have the space to list everything that is fab about this area, there is just so much going on. The weather is just great. It's amazing. September is very hot, and even Xmas. Oct Nov, you may have a couple of days of rain; but it will still be warm. It's hardly ever cold, sometimes at night - naturally. It's great when you wake up and open your blinds on a November or January morning and there isn't a cloud in the sky. No wonder everyone heads here for the winter. This part of Spain cannot be beaten. This area is not cheap, but everyone wants to come here. Why? You may ask.

Because Marbella beautiful and unique. What more can I say.?

You have to come here. Try it. Guarantee you'll be back!

I couldn't possibly list all the great places to go over here ... but if you send me all the info on what you are interested in then I shall certainly help you along as much as I can .. you will never be bored here, especially if you are sport orientated, there is just too much to do.

About Vivien lee

I am a granny with two wonderful grown up children, (Andaleeb and Zain), and have eight grandchildren. I went to Marbella thirteen years ago to see a friend who I hadn't seen for many years. The moment I stepped off the plane I felt that I belonged. (If that makes sense}? I fell madly in love with Marbella and didn't want to end my holiday, so my friend suggessted that I buy a place over there. Which I did, and never regretted.

Vivien lee purchased this apartment in 2002

Why Vivien lee chose Marbella

I bought the property off plan before it was finished. When I saw a plan of the beautiful gardens in the complex, I realised that if I was going to buy something here, then it would have to be a penthouse, which would give me the beautiful views; of not just the gardens, but of Gibraltar that stands majestically in the Med. Also the Atlas mountains of Morocco, and of course the mountain views OFFthe coast going up to Ronda

What makes this apartment unique

You have everything that you desire in this property when you rent it. There are no hidden charges It's beautiful, comfortable and you have sky tv and internet. On the terrace you have a chiringuito with sofa and chairs and it is lit up at night. A perfect place to chill and have a drink. There is also a dining table on the terrace which has six chairs. plus sunbeds. There is nothing you need take with you, it is all there. Hairdryers, towels and sheets.

The property is located about a 15 minute walk to Puerto Banus. There is a bridge at the bottom of the road which gives you easy access to Banus. The supermarket is also about a 2 minutes walk from our complex, just at the bottom of the road. we also have a Swedish supermarket as where we live there are quite a few Scandinavians. Both suoermarkets stock English food. It's also a coffee shop. If you want brekky, you can pop into the Sisu Boutique Hotel at the bottom of the road. Good value and very 'TOWIE.' One of the girls in Towie used to live across the road. There is a sky bar and pool in the Sisu, and it is open to non- residents. If you feel lazy and don't feel like walking to; or from the port, you can ring for a cab at reception on our complex. The phone numbers or on the notice board. They are very effiecient and do not keep you waiting. It's about 5 minutes drive to the port, and would cost about 7/8 euros by cab if you care to take one.

You can walk to the port via the beach if you like; but you may take all day, as there are too many distractions on the way. (You will see). If you care to take that route, then walk down beside the side of the petrol station, where you will pass fabulous bars and Ocean Club. You can park down the side of the petrol station. Not saying that there will be a space?

Other Activities: There is so much to see in Marbella.

ISTAN for one; which is the turn off near PUENTO ROMANO CLUB HOTEL. Which you must visit . The gardens are incredibly beautiful especially at night. There is a secret heated pool in the middle of the gardens -i f you can find it)? There is also RONDA... which is an hours drive up the mountains. Glorious views everywhere. Turn right at the bottom of the road near the Sisu Hotel, drive to the roundabout, turn right and head for the mountains. I think there 's a sign that says Ronda. Lovely place to visit.

GIBRALTER... Don't forget your passport. Park outside of Gib somewhere near Mc'Donalds, otherwise it will take you ages to get out of customs, and sitting in your car in 80 degrees to wait to get out is no joke. Once in there, jump on the bus. It will take you all round Gib and you can jump on and off for £1 How good is that?

GOLF... The Costa Del Sol is home to 150 18 hole golf courses, the Los Narangos, Guadalmiina, Atalaya, El Pariso and Los Flamingos Golf courses are about a 5 minute drive which are very well known and great to play on with good rates. The famous PGA TOUR Valerama course is about 20 minutes West. All these courses are literally just up he road 15 minutes drive. Golf everywhere.

Ski... The Ski resort of Sierra Nevada is located near the city of Granada where you can also view the famous Al Hambra Palace which was built by the Moore's, Sierra Nevada is about a 3 hour drive from Marbella, and has all the facilities one would expect and require, from black slopes to beginners, snowboarding and skiing. There are many hotels and B and B's which have very good rates. It is a great weekend out, but do remember if you are going to go, then leave Marbella early, as there is a prompt build up of people after 9am. Good Luck and don't break a leg! Two hour drive}.

Very nice apartment with a huge terrace

  • 5 of 5

Thank you so much Vivien for your attention & your help at all times & thanks also to Maria who was very helpfull too.

Perfect for everyone!

  • 5 of 5

Three of us stayed here for 10 nights and we had a fantastic time at the apartment. It's spacious, modern, clean, tidy and well looked after.

We arrived by public transport from Malaga Airport - get a train to Fuengirola (costs less than €2), bus to Marbella (around €4) and a taxi to the apartment (around €12).

OR, bus from Malaga Airport to Marbella (around €6) then the taxi.

It's around 10 minutes walk to the beach at Puerto Banus, just down a straight road and over the bridge (you will get tired of the bridge if you're walking).

Convenient shop just round the corner from the complex for all your essentials. Pizzeria next door to it which opens from 18:00 to 23:00 - definitely worth a try, delicious pizzas and friendly staff. Takeaway option too if you want.

Back to the apartment...

It's very secure with a code to access the main doors at Terrazas Del Rodeo. There's a locked door at your bloque and head to the top floor in the lift.

A stylish and modern decor with an artistic flare at the apartment.

LIVING AREA: Corner couch, coffee table, TV, WIFI, Arabian corner with a double bed and mosquito net so it's very private.

KITCHEN: All the space necessary, large fridge freezer, cooker, sink, washing machine, dish washer, cutlery and crockery available too.

BATHROOM: You have to access it through the bedroom, brand new fitted shower and good size with lots of light.

BEDROOM: Large double room with a double bed, two windows over looking the private terrace, two fitted wardrobes and clean bedding and towels in the cupboard closest to thr bathroom.

TERRACE: Huge 'L' shaped balcony, with three sun beds, outdoor dining table and chairs, sheltered area in the corner with wicker outdoor arm chairs and couch with a table.

POOLS: 2 outdoor pools with lots of sun bathing spaces.

OWNER: Absolutely excellent and can't fault her. Viv was such a pleasure to speak with. Quick responses to any questions and was always helpful in her responses. Our return flight was in the evening and she was very accommodating to allow us to stay a few hours after check out.

I can't recommend this apartment enough! Viv has such a beautiful home in the sun, you can tell she loves it and it certainly feels like a home away from home.

There are no con's, just pro's to this beautiful apartment. We hope to stay in the future!

Thank you again Viv, it's been a pleasure and we were sad to have to leave. I'm sure we'll be back in the future.

Matt, Karl and Dan xxx

Superb apartment with WONDERFUL private terrace

  • 5 of 5

Superb apartment with WONDERFUL wrap-around 100 sqM terrace, gets the winter sun in privacy from midday. Good wifi meant I could run by business for a month in the sun with no issues. Well-located on the edge of town with a pleasant 15 min walk to the beach, 20min walk from the Port. Vivien (the owner) was very helpful when I had a couple of issues with TV & zircon (both caused by my own stupidity!). Highly recommended... I'll be back :-)

Relaxing Break

  • 4 of 5

As I'm not a lover of beaches, it was the terrace that originally made me look at this apartment, and what a good decision I made! The apartment is very nicely furnished with plenty of little touches, such as the array of cushions, that you don't normally find in rental accommodation and is very homely and comfortable. Vivien, the owner, is very helpful and makes the whole process easy and straightforward. The terrace has plenty of sun or shade, whatever your preference, all day long. We didn't have a car but there is a little shop around the corner that we used for basics - bread, beer, etc, and although there are no bars or restaurants within a reasonable walking distance, there are frequent, cheap buses along the main road which you can catch to San Pedro, Marbella and Puerto Banus. All in all, we had a very relaxing week's break.

Owner's Response: Hello dear. Thank you for the nice review who ever you are. just one thing . I'm surprised you didn't notice the SISU BOUTIQUE HOTEL which is literally a five minute walk from the house just before you get to the road? You must have passed it every day. It is open to non residents and has great food in the bar and the restaurant. It also has a very vibrant pool with great music and lots of nightly activities as they also have a sky bar which is on the roof and looks out over Banus, sea and mountains. What a shame you missed it. You would also pass MARBELLA PADEL CLUB WHICH IS NEXT TO THE HOTEL. There you can get food also. Then of course if you walked up the hill you have LA CAMPANA which is a typical Spanish town. There are loads of beautiful bars and eateries in the village at a fraction of the cost of Banus. What a shame you missed out on these places. Anyway, glad you enjoyed yourselves, thank you for the nice review. Rgds, Viv.

Great find in Puerto Banus

  • 5 of 5

We've been going to Marbella/Banus for over a decade and have stayed in numerous apartments and this is one of the best. The location is good as it is quiet yet within walking distance of Banus (although not in heels!). The balcony is huge and we spent most of our time out there enjoying the views and the sun.

Everything was clean as you would expect and even when we had a small issue with the shower, someone came out immediately to fix it.

Good apartment, good value and would certainly go back.
