This is a “must see” to appreciate all the upgrades and finishes in this tri-level contemporary chic home. It is nestled in the heart of Noe Valley one of San Francisco most desirable neighborhood and home of many famous Silicon Valley entrepreneurs. The house is a short 3 minutes walk (we timed it) to 24th street to get your morning cappuccino from one of the cafes or have dinner in one of the great restaurants - There, you will find many fine food markets, ice-cream parlors, juice bar, a candy store...
The house has clean lines, high ceilings, hardwood floors, open floor plan with a great flow. An updated kitchen opens up to the formal dining area that is perfect for entertaining while preparing meals. The kitchen features a classic 6-burner O’Keefe & Merritt gas range and oven, Bosch and LG appliances, plenty of storage space and a deep farm sink.
The house has 4 bedrooms + an additional den adjacent to one of the bedrooms that can be used for extra sleeping.
- BR1 sleeps 2 - The upstairs bedroom has a king size bed.
- DEN sleeps 2 - The den is adjacent to the upstairs bedroom and has two twin beds. The slanted ceiling can be challenging for really tall people but kids LOVE the hiding nook.
- BR2 sleeps 2 - The main floor garden side bedroom is all windows and has a queen size bed.
- BR3 sleeps 2 - The main floor street side (small bedroom) has a single bed with a trundle that doubles it into 2 singles.
- BR4 sleeps 4 - The downstairs bedroom has a queen bed and a queen size futon.
There is a garage but not available for parking. But you can park in the driveway as long as your are not blocking the sidewalk - Hard to believe, there is plenty of free street parking. Just watch for street cleaning days.
There is a spacious backyard with two decks. The deck next to the house has a gas barbecue grill and an outdoor dining table.
The second deck in the back of the backyard has a TINY finished cottage with a desk and a day bed. Because it is away from the house, it is quiet and great for an afternoon nap or some quiet work.
Nothing much interesting there, except that it is were the brand new washer and dryer are.
SOME OTHER FEATURES:
Bright and cheerful, multiple skylights bring in plenty of natural light
Hardwood floors on main level, carpet in the upstairs bedroom
Murano glass light fixtures and custom chandelier in dining area

The spiral staircase may be a bit challenging to very small kids but my kids as toddlers were fine going up & down the stairs as long as they hold on to the rail.
There's a space upstairs for young kids to play
With some toys & games. You may request other items & I'll see if I have them.
-The room you're renting is your domain. You also have access to the kitchen, main bathroom, living room and deck outside. You do not, however, have access to the other bedrooms.
-If renting the entire house, you have access to the whole house
Interaction with Guests:
We love to meet guests and sit down for coffee if they're open to it. But we also respect their privacy. We will be there to answer any questions. We are out during the day and come home late, but we can make time if requested. As we are long-time SF residents we can point you to restaurants, sites or tips on how to get around like a local...
Noe Valley is one of San Francisco's most desirable and safe neighborhood. It is filled with a mix of Edwardian and Victorian houses. It is a wonderful, lively place. We recommend hanging out at the Saturday morning farmer's market on 24th street. Locals are friendly, approachable and laid back.
Noe Valley is central within San Francisco. So most sights are accessible from there - feel free to ask us how to get around. There are many alternative to traditional taxis and transportation in San Francisco (like Lyft or Uber).

We've lived in this house for over 10 years. Alexandra and kids split their time between here and the wine country while Olivier lives in the house full time. Alexandra, an artist, pastry chef and interior decorator has lived in San Francisco most of her life. Olivier is originally from France. He has been in the States for almost 20 years. He is an independent Business Development Consultant for several high tech companies both locally and internationally. We both enjoy the wonderful things the city has to offer such as its restaurants, museums, shops and the bay and feel very fortunate to be living in this beautiful, diverse city.
Alexandra Veyrac purchased this house in 2000
The charming Edwardian style, the neighborhood, the lovely garden in the back with two decks as well as the little cottage.
During my family's stay at your home, we enjoyed every moment spent there.
From the first encounter to our check out, you both were very accommodating
to any of our request. Unfortunenately, we did not get the pleasure of
meeting you, Olivier, in person, but thank you for corresponding to me in
such a timely manner. Alexandra, you welcomed us in your home and provided
us with great recommendations within the area. This was the first time
booking a vacation home and because of such a wonderful experience, I hold
high standards to any other place we may visit. I hope to visit San
Francisco again and would not hestitate to contact you again. Thank you
again for an unforgettable experience!
Highly recommended for large groups. The only thing I would suggest is more fans on the upstairs level - we had to go buy one from Walmart. Otherwise, perfect!
My family and I enjoyed a wonderful week in this beautiful home. We gathered there to celebrate the marriage of our son and his beautiful fiance. The home is well appointed and comfortable. The owners were extremely gracious and had many things available so that you can easily get your stay started. It is a quick walk to groceries, restaurants and shops. The only concern prior to arrival was only 2 bathrooms for 10 folks, but it was NO problem whatsoever. The sleeping arrangements were comfortable. It was very clean and well maintained. Thoroughly enjoyed the outside table and cottage seating area for evening cocktails and wine. It would be a pleasure to recommend this home and its owners to anyone interested in visiting the San Francisco area. My husband and I are planning on returning to this property in the future.
I met three daughters and their families in San Francisco for a 5-day reunion. Not everyone slept at the house; but it was a perfect gathering place for early dinners with the whole group of 6 adults and 8 children. The kitchen/dining/living area was attractive and had plenty of room for everyone to sit and eat and/or socialize. There were several places for the children to play including an ouside deck/garden. The house was clean and well-equipped and Alexandra even left us a delicious cake and bottle of wine which we thoroughly enjoyed. The house was also very close to the shopping area in Noe Valley so it was very convenient to do our grocery shopping at Whole Foods and pick up other needed supplies. We also had no trouble finding parking on the street for the additional cars which was much appreciated. Alexandra was very pleasant and, although we had no issues that had to be addressed, I'm sure she would have been responsive. Most of the attractions we sought on this trip were child-oriented but two of these, The Exploratorium and the Alcatraz tour were enjoyed by children and adults alike. I would definitely recommend this house. It's probably one of the few available that can sleep that number of people. The circular staircase might prove difficult for someone elderly and those sleeping on the top floor need to come down a flight for the bathroom. However, there are two bedrooms on the ground floor which would be comfortable for those who have trouble with stairs. The place worked beautifully for us.
Such a great house with plenty of space to escape ! The kitchen is beautifully equipped and we had some lovely dinners on the lovely back deck. Its a short walk to some great bars and restaurants in the Castro district. The full San Fran experience !
After much research, I chose Alexandra and Olivier's home for a bachelorette weekend with my girlfriends. As the MOH, I wanted to make sure the house was in a great location and spacious enough for 11 of us. This home more than exceeded expectations! Alexandra made contacting her with any questions very easy before, during, and after our stay which is all you can really ask for.
I would definitely recommend this home to others staying in the area!
My coworkers stayed in this home during a recent business trip to San Francisco and thoroughly enjoyed it...they said everything was modern and attractive and the location was awesome. Nothing to complain about! :)
Family-friendly neighborhood, with lots of shops, restaurants, cafes, bakeries and supermarkets. There are a few playgrounds in the neighborhood. Dolores Park is a fun place both for young kids, adolescents, and adults.
