E Komo Mai! Welcome to our newer 5-bedroom/6-bath private home, located in the desirable windward town of Kailua, Oahu. This beachside residence is within close walking distance to a 3-mile stretch of one of the best swimming beaches on Oahu. Stores, restaurants, shave ice, kayak rentals, and a medical clinic, are all within eyesight too.
Our home bodes well for those large families or gatherings of best friends that want to enjoy each others company, yet have the space to relax or search out privacy throughout this 5,000 sft. home.
Our goal is to provide our guests with all the comforts they would expect on a vacation in paradise. Imagine, every bedroom in this home has its own private bathroom. All of the 5-bathrooms have at least a shower, and 2 have an extra tub/shower feature. Additionally, all of the 5-bedrooms have large closets, of which 4 are walk-in's. Each bedroom has its own flat screen television and a dedicated split air conditioning unit for added comfort.
The well furnished kitchen boasts granite countertops and contains upscale major appliances with brand names such as Sub-Zero, Wolf, and Bosch. A nook that seats 4 comfortably adjoins the main kitchen area along with a spacious pantry stocked with cooking paraphernalia, small appliances, and paper products.
There are 2 enormous covered outdoor lanai's, approximately 750 sft. each in size, both facing directly towards the cool prevailing trade winds. Numerous tables and chairs are provided on each lanai, with a teak dining set (seats 10) and a Weber gas BBQ positioned on the downstairs lanai for covered outdoor dining enjoyment.
The pictures don’t describe how spacious this home is. It is well-appointed and meticulously maintained. Our family, (9 adults & 2 children) spent 5 nights together and never felt like we were crowded. Everyone had their own bed/bath and there were multiple common areas both inside and outside to gather. The home is in a great location, close to everything including beautiful Kailua beach which is just steps away. Harry, the owner, could not have been more accommodating and helpful.

All the positive reviews are true. Harry is a wonderful host; not at all intrusive but always immediately available toanswer the occassional question. Much to do and grocery stores and cafes in easy walking distance. Very close to a really great, uncrowded beach. The best rental experience we have ever had, by far.
This property is a great place for four or five couples. Each could function independently if they prefer, with as much or as little interaction as they prefer. Each bedroom is a master suite, with its own well-appointed bathroom and closet, and is isolated from the others. There is a living room and a large lanai on each floor. The kitchen is spacious, well laid out, and amply equipped, including a second oven and a walk-in pantry. We didn't use the entertainment system, but it is up-to-date and spread through out the house. Most of the floors are large ceramic tiles; quite functional in a tropical climate and easy to keep clean. Though it is on a busy street, it is very quiet. It is on the edge of the popular Kailua Beach Park and one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. The 2-mile trail through the park and along Lanikai Beach is a great place to run or walk.
We had 4 families meeting together and the space was more than adequate. The kitchen was very well equipped and even included an amazing welcome basket from Harry with many local treats that we truly enjoyed. Harry was very friendly and helpful and a joy to meet. The place looked brand new. We enjoyed the outside lani's and the very large kitchen. Also each bedroom had a large nice bathroom making it very convenient. I would definetly love to stay here again.
Our daughter left cold MN to go to college in Hawaii. Now that she graduated in December, I have to admit it was a great plan! We got to attend graduation somewhere warm! Staying at Harry's house in Kailua for a second time was wonderful! Our family of 6 adults enjoyed eachothers company when we were at the house and while enjoying beautiful Kailua Beach! The house is spacious, beautifully decorated, fully equipped and clean. The beds are comfortable. There are many areas inside and outside where we could spend time together or have some privacy. Harry is always available to answer questions or help with anything. He is a very very nice man and truly a fabulous host! We had a lot of fun exploring the Island but also looked forward to spending time in the comforts of Harry house! Mahalo Harry!
Our family of 10 spent 9 days in this fabulous home over Christmas. The location is excellent - easy walk to a beautiful beach & easy drive to all locations on the island. Harry was a welcoming host and provided us with all we needed for comfortable and clean accommodations. The fresh fruit, snacks and Christmas tree he provided were an added welcoming touch. We loved that every bedroom had its own bathroom. The house was so spacious that we hardly knew that 10 people were in the house. We appreciated the well stocked kitchen. It was very easy to prepare meals for our large group. Also loved that Harry provided everything we needed for a fun & relaxing time at the beach (towels, umbrellas, chairs, boogie boards etc).
We would definitely rent this home again on another trip to Oahu! Thanks Harry for helping make this vacation such a memorable one!
