About an hour drive from Waikiki, the North Shore of Oahu is known for it’s legendary winter surf and professional surf competitions. Home to world famous Haleiwa Beach, Sunset Beach, Waimea Bay and the infamous Pipeline. While the North Shore is known for it’s monster winter surf, the beach fronting the condo is a reefed beach, protected from the rough waves. A perfect beach for families. Great for snorkeling, swimming and surfing. Peaceful, uncrowded and away from the hurry.
Minutes from the Historic Haleiwa Town. A beach town, lined with local stores, beach activities, art galleries and specialty eateries. Shop at the farmers market to cook a meal with local produce at home. Be sure to indulge in a sweet slushy rainbow shave ice after a day in the waves or shopping.
The view from the balcony was amazing - just a few steps to a lovely beach, where the snorkeling was better than Hanauma Bay in terms of how many fish were seen! Comfortable and convenient for getting into Haleiwa. We loved our stay!
We stayed at Gayle's for 10 days and loved the location and the excellent setup of the unit. Gayle had thoughtfully provided many little extras that helped make our stay comfortable. The extras in the kitchen cupboard and the snorkelling and swimming gear all helped to make this a relaxing holiday. Every time I thought I needed a chiller bag or plastic food wrap or paper towel, I found Gayle had already anticipated that and provided these extras. The view of the ocean from the lanai and the proximity to the beach combined with the convenience of Haleiwa within walking distance makes this property a beautiful holiday destination.
My sister and I were pleasantly surprised by the beach proximity to the condo and appreciated the through condo details provided. They were very acurate!
Condo is in a great central location on the north shore of Oahu. Nice beach out front for swimming and snorkeling with many turtles in sight. We did a catamaran tour from the nearby harbor which was great fun. BBQ area and picnic tables on the ocean provide a great area to grill and relax. Fun shops to visit in the nearby town of Haleiwa including many restaurant options as well. Condo was clean. Kitchen and bathroom sinks/cabinets are updated. Showers could use some updating. Bathrooms are small so it was nice to have 2 bathrooms even though it was only a one bedroom unit. Condo had snorkeling gear as well as beach chairs and a great view of the ocean. I would recommend staying at this condo.
Clean and quiet condo! Perfect for our vacation. Location was great for playing in clean beach in front of condo, walking to town for drinks/food/shopping, walking to park for surfing. Highly recommend.
