House with garden in a village near Dieppe

Heerlijk huisje dat van alle gemakken is voorzien, de douche springt er hier bij uit (heerlijke volle straal) en de tafeltennistafel maakte het verblijf voor mijn zoons TOP.

Het huisje bevind zich bovendien op een leuke lokatie waarvan uit de omgeving met tal van leuke steden, dorpen en stranden te ontdekken is.

Wir waren hier in einer wunderschönen, sonnigen Maiwoche und haben dieses Haus als Start für unsere Ausflüge ans Meer und in die nähere Umgebung gemacht. Jeden Morgen haben wir frisches Baguette in der Bäckerei gegenüber abgeholt. Für die weiteren Einkäufe gibt s einen Carrefour in Offranville, 4km entfernt.

Die Liegen laden zum Entspannen ein. Das Haus ist mit allem Notwendigen ausgestattet. Wir zwei hatten ausreichend Platz und konnten uns gut erholen.

Quelle calme chez vous, après une journée de loisirs, se retrouver dans une maison reposante, très bien aménagée, où il ne manque de rien.

Dès que l'on rentre dans cette demeure, le stress s'en va

Great rural location for a half-term break to explore the Cote d'Albatre as so close to Dieppe if crossing on the Newhaven ferry. The owner and daughter greeted us warmly and showed us around. Thanks for the lovely cakes in the fridge! The cottage facilities were sufficient, though not the best shower or cooker in the world - and we've never seen so many cobwebs and huge spiders!! We also were not expecting the steep open staircase - okay with a 7 year old, but maybe less great if your kids are younger. The bikes, scooter, ping-pong table and darts board in the garage were much appreciated and used. We took a child's bike with us so that we could all enjoy. There was a great scooter/skate park on the prom at Dieppe which our son enjoyed as well as climbing frames etc. There were plenty of good restaurants in Dieppe, but also further afield in Pourville, le Treport and Veulettes sur Rouge. The owners left out a useful Normandy with Kids guidebook which we used often. We particularly enjoyed the cliffs at Etretat and a boat trip in Le Treport, where we also had fun looking at the live lobsters and crabs in the fish market. Dieppe Saturday morning market was good and we enjoyed a trip to Rouen Cathedral and Joan of Arc memorial. Shopping-wise there was a boulangerie around the corner and the big Auchan supermarket in Dieppe for every day needs. All in all a relaxing holiday with lovely warm autumnal weather. If the shower and cooker were better and less cobwebs we would have awarded five stars. (To be fair, we are comparing this property to others we have stayed with using HomeAway and have graded the top mark).

Nous avons été très bien accueillis par les propriétaires. La maison est agréable et idéale pour une petite famille. Il est appréciable d'avoir à disposition tout les équipements de loisir (ping pong, badminton, vélos, jeux de société etc...).

En bref, nous avons passé une très bonne semaine.
