Upper King is the new center of Charleston’s renowned restaurant and night life. A recent survey of the “Essential 18 Charleston Restaurants” has seven of these restaurants (Hominey Grill, Indaco, The Grocery, The Macintosh, The Ordinary, Two Boroughs Larder, , Xiao Bao Biscuit) within four blocks of the cottage.

This property features the best of Charleston. It offers the privacy of a stand alone property but is a manageable and comfortable size which is unusual in the midst of historic Charleston. Parking spot directly in driveway in front of Cottage.
This charming cottage is nestled among historic award winning properties whilst offering one-story modern convenience and comfort. Large kitchen is fully equipped with microwave and Keurig coffee maker. It is professionally decorated, attractive and charming with a mix of antiques and carefully selected objects in the Charleston tradition. There is off-street parking for tow to three cars.
Very cozy and quaint. A little tight for a group of six adults. Jamie the property manager was prompt and attentive to our every need.
Second visit to the house. Jaime is wonderful. She answers her phone if ever needed. Very clean and well equipped home. Patio the best. Can't wait to go for the third time. All was awesome. Thanks.
We had a great time at this cottage. Its location was in easy walking distance of some of the best restaurants in Charleston. The owners keep the property neat an clean.
Everything about this home was amazing! From the location to the decor. Can't recomend it enough plus owners are just the sweetest people.
Just returned from a five day 'girls' weekend in Charleston. The cottage was roomy, comfortable, clean and quiet. Great beds! We had coffee on the patio each morning which was delightful even when the days were hot. The location was perfect. A bit away from the buzz of downtown but close enough to walk when we wanted. The visitor center was close by. We UBERED to and from when we didn't want to walk A very reasonable $5 ride from the Battery. Jamie was always available when we called. We can't wait to make our reservations for next year! Thanks for a terrific stay!
Cute and well appointed. Walkable neighborhood with nearby cafes, restaurants and convenience stores. Short walk to King Street, where there are many eateries. Off-street parking space for one car at house, with available space for additional cars nearby. Fenced in brick patio with umbrella table and grill. Worked beautifully for us! Thanks Jamie. A& D
In the heart of Upper King Street with all the newly developed restaurants and attractions, you are only a few blocks from the College of Charleston and MUSC. Within walking distance to most attractions on the Peninsula. Driving or a quick taxi ride to beaches, and outlet shopping.
