My family has been coming to Lake George for many many years. We love the outdoor activities and enjoy being together. It is our paradise!
The Owner purchased this house in 2005
Westview is a unique property. We love the sunset views and the view of Long Island and Assembly Point are spectacular. It's location on the east side of the lake gives us easy access to various amenities like grocery stores. We love that Cleverdale Road is very quiet giving us the opportunity to do a lot of walking and bike riding. The layout of Westview with the three separate units makes it very nice for us to have large family gatherings for extended periods of time.
Westview is right on the water with plenty of dock space for boats. It is close to town, shopping, golf, amusement park, and many other attractions
If you want to experience pure tranquility - stay here!!! We had 12 adults in our party - the boat house was the central spot for all!!! We spent our days floating and swimming and kayaking and fishing - that was about it - and that's all we needed!!!! The main house is cozy and sweet and has all you need. The apartment was perfect and the boathouse was amazing. We truly had a wonderful time!!!!! Thank you Pamela for sharing your peaceful getaway with us!!! We will definitely be back!
I had such an great time at westview. The house was great and was able to acommidate 16 adults. The view from the boat house is stunning. The house was neat and clean. We liked it so much that we ended up never leaving the house, I would totally stay there again.
We had a wonderful family reunion at Westview and would highly recommend the facility to anyone. There were 13 of us, 11 adults and 2 children and the accomodations were perfect. We all enjoyed the boat house and swimming off the dock.
Our family stayed for the second time at this great property in Cleverdale. We were 15 including my husband and I, our 5 children and spouses and 5 grandchildren between the ages of 1 through 8. The house and apartment were great for the families and single "kids" and we enjoyed being slightly apart in the boat house. Days were spent in Lake George or Bolton Landing, lunch at Suttons. The little kids loved the Magic Forest. Late afternoons and evenings were spent on the dock, enjoying the beautiful sunsets, the family swimming off the dock (the kids had swimmies on) and fishing. The grandkiddies enjoyed catching the sunnies and the rest of us had success later in the evening. It is a wonderful relaxing vacation and the owner, Pam, makes sure you have everything you need and is available by phone should you have any questions. I would definitely recommend this location to everyone!
This property was an excellent stay for my family reunion. The view is magnificant. All the apartments were exceptionally clean! Location is close to shopping and the steamboat cruises! The owner has good communication skills and is very friendly and prompt with questions and answers responses. I would recommend this property to anyone whose looking for a nice view of the Lake and a great family or couple's outing!
Westview was a wonderful getaway for our entire family. The accommodations were perfect and quite charming. Everyone had their own space. The property is well equipped. Lounging on the dock under the boathouse was wonderful and the location of the house was so close to everything. We were thrilled that we could bring our 2 boats. Not too many places can accommodate that as well. We will cherish the memories and can't wait to do it again.
Hiking Buck Mountain, Six Flags Great Escape Amusement Park, Adirondack Extreme Adventure Course ( Zip lining and Ropes Course in the trees... very fun), Golf courses, Miniature golf... and so much more.
