This home was incredible. We had family from NC stay as well as people from other states visiting and they were amazed. The house had plenty of space and the view was breath taking. We had our wedding elsewhere, but we talked the whole time about how we could have had it here. I got a lot of my wedding pictures done at the house and it could not have been better. This house had a MAJOR part in making my wedding weekend a dream come true; it kept the whole family together and more then happy. I wish we could have stayed here forever. Thank you so incredibly much for letting us stay...I would 100% recommend this home to anyone and everyone.
We rented this lovely property as a home base during our daughter's wedding at Kitsap Memorial Park. The space was perfect for friends and family to gather. The photos do not do the home justice--it is just that great. The communication between Matt and the myself was outstanding--I've never had such a responsive VRBO contact. Great spaces for large gatherings as well as nooks to get away from the crowd. Excellent TV, wi-fi worked well, huge fridge and excellent stove. The property and view cannot be beat. We definitely hope to rent this place again!
So grateful that the owner of this home makes it available as a vacation rental. It was perfect for us. Our family of grown children and grandchildren gathered together from far and near for four nights at this very cool home on Hood Canal. Our daughter got married at St Paul's church in Port Gamble which is only 15 minutes away. The view is awesome. The kitchen was very well stocked with many pots, pans, dishes and utensils plus a lovely viking stove to cook on. The dining table is huge, which was not only great for family meals, but game playing too. There is a separate TV lounge that allowed some to watch a movie or cable TV while others were visiting in the main living area. The real wood fireplace was lovely for our cool, rainy days. There is also an outside fire pit and a horseshoe pit but we did not use these due to the nasty weather. We did take the steps down to the beach a couple of times and enjoyed walking there. The wrap around porch allowed us to be outside without getting wet. The loft upstairs was a great place for the young cousins to sleep and play. So many bedrooms and bathrooms provided places of sanctuary when adults needed a bit of alone time. The owner was super accommodating and easy to work with. For large groups wanting to stay under one roof this place is a no brainer. Just book it!
The Hood Canal Waterfront home was wonderful. We all had a wonderful time. There was plenty of room for everyone (23 people). Beautiful home..inside and out. We even had our family pictures taken here! There was plenty of space outside for a great game of Amazing Race. We had such great weather too. I don't think we could of come at a better time. Sunshine every day! Thank you for making the week an amazing memory for our family!
We had a wonderful time in this beautiful home. It is a lovely and very private setting with great views. It's just steps to the water. It's a few minutes drive to Poulsbo's cute harbor, shops and restaurants or to Port Gamble's cute shops and hiking/mountain biking trails.
There was plenty of space for our 3-generation graduation celebration. The bedrooms are beautifully decorated. The loft is an outstanding teen pad. The kitchen is great -- huge stove/oven and fridge.
We really appreciated the ramp and bedroom/bath on the first floor, since one of our party uses a walker. While he couldn't get to the water's edge, he could enjoy the views from the house and garden.
Communication about the rental was seamless and prompt. I would certainly recommend this property.
This house was amazing! We're still talking about it! Spent my 30th birthday here with my family, little kids included, and everybody had a blast! The location is absolutely gorgeous! Every morning, you wake up to the most beautiful views! You're in the middle if the woods, with your own beach literally steps away. We'll be back!
