Outside, it is a wooded wonderland. Even though we are in a subdivision it is not uncommon for us to have deer, squirrels, wild turkey, lots of hummingbirds and native wildlife visit our yard.

We fell in love with Pagosa with the friendly local people, the activities that are available year around, the most beautiful views, and the freshest air.
Had a great time during our Spring Break ski trip. The skiing was great and the cabin made the trip. Beautiful décor, comfortable beds, and plenty of room. Will be looking to rent next year when we come up to Wolf Creek again to ski.
Others have said it in previous reviews, but the pictures genuinely do not do justice to how nice this place is. Plenty of room, all the amenities you could possibly need, and great proximity to town, still being relatively close to the slopes. We had six adults and two kids, and it was a perfect setup. The beds were comfortable, house was fresh and updated, and we were able to save a fortune by grocery shopping and cooking at home. Thank you so much for sharing your home with us! We can't wait to come back again.
We are two families (4 adults + 6 kids) that wanted to give our children their first white Christmas and this beautiful home in Pagosa was the perfect place to do just that. This home had everything (fully stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, wi-if, cable, plenty of space) and a beautifully decorated Christmas tree. The pictures of this house do not do it justice. Our kids made snow forts, snow men and threw snowballs galore while us adults were able to visit, make delicious meals and relax by the fireplace. We hope to return to Pagosa next year and would definitely want to rent this lovely home again.
Great helpful owners. Sent us messages about helpful info. All in our party felt at home and enjoyed all the house had to offer. The living area in front of fire place was great to sit and visit. The recliners my favorite spot! Everything possible you could need in kitchen, we cooked almost all our meals. Loved the big windows. Would really love to stay here again.
Our children, grandchild and great grandchildren all gathered for a visit. We came from California and they came from Texas. It was well worth the drive. All of us enjoyed staying in such a lovely decorated home and the layout was great. All had a great time. If things go well we hope to do it again at sometime in the future.
Morning coffee on the balcony with a beautiful view, wrapped in a blanket and watching the wildlife wake up, was the very best part of each day. Another favorite was the large late breakfast we had daily from the very well stocked kitchen. We had everything we needed if we cooked in. The great thing was we were just minutes away from great restaurants and shopping in the heart of Pagosa too. Riff Raff Brewing, Tequila, and Rose Cafe are just a few restaurants we would highly recommend. Cabin is an easy day trip to Durango and Mesa Verde to the East and then there is the spectacular drive over Wolf Pass into the quaint town of Creede to the North. Many great hiking trails along the way with incredible views of water falls and the continental divide. After a day of adventures out, it was so perfect to come back to such a clean, homey, comfortable cabin, to relax, play games or just watch the shooting stars from the balcony. We can not recommend this VRBO more highly! Not all hosts are always easy to work with but Steve and Susan are the best! We will tell others and will be back. J&D Norris
