Karin, Ricciotti, We have just arrived back in Australia. The rest of our trip went well but the highlight was our stay in Umbria. We loved the Palazzo and will always remember the 2002 Wimbledon final. Thank you for your hospitality and assistance. We have already recommended you to a number of friends (Jim and
Trudy Snelson (2002).
We have had a fantastic stay at Il Palazzo and the hospitality we received from our hosts was much greater than we could have hoped for. Having arrived very late due to all our bags being lost, we were supplied with food and even with clothing to see us through. Thank you so much for saving our holiday and for sharing such a wonderful holiday destination. Paul and Sally Williamson (2004).
I would like to thank you on behalf of my family and the rest of the Nick Redman party (31 in all) for providing us with a terrific venue for our holiday. For me it ranks up at the top of my list of favourite holiday destinations. Steve Pullinger (2005)
GUEST BOOK (continued):-
Thank you for a wonderful holiday. Our accommodation was excellent with beautiful views. This is truly one place which looks exactly like it does in the brochure. We received a really warm welcome. Jill and Jan Wright (July 2004).
We've had a really wonderful time at Il Palazzo. We couldn't believe our eyes when we drew up at such a wonderful old house. The setting is perfect, the garden is a joy and the pool is great. Thank you for your hospitality and kindness. The Scutts and the Barones (July 2005)

It is possibile to arrange a two-location holiday in the summer; a few days in the country in Umbria and a few days in Rome (Property No. 61942).
We did indeed have a wonderful time. I think the location is perfect for so many reasons. We were well-placed for touring and the food was tremendous: you have a great team there in Marianna and family.
All the family thought they had a great experience of central Italy which was new to all of them. Tommy has only just stopped talking about Sweety...
Thank you for sharing your place with us!
I and my friends (7 all together) spent absolutely fantastic week at this villa. One has to be a poet to describe this beautiful romantic place. The house, the garden, the view, the location – everything was perfect. And our special thanks to Arsenie and Marianna who took care of us and who were so eager to help us in everything. Our next trip to Italy will definitely start at Il Palazzo di Bagnaia. Karin, thank you!!!
We stayed the first week in the converted farmhouse Casa di Scoccia. It was really relaxed surroundings for us as a family with older children, and had spacious living areas, plenty of room to spread out and a lovely terraced area to sit and look at the beautiful fountains, geraniums and topiary with Umbrian hills beyond. Is ideal if you want a property lovingly restored with great character and sense of generations spending time in this space. There is a even a peaceful little chapel. The swimming pool, very nearby and surrounded by a well-clipped box hedge, was a good size, well maintained at just the right temperature and had plenty of comfortable loungers. We instantly relaxed in these lovely surroundings and were well looked after by Marianne, and her husband who works tirelessly to maintain the beautiful grounds. The second week we moved to the Palazzo on the top floor of the villa with sweeping countryside and hill views from every window, and an interior reminiscent of a traditional stately home. Both properties had facilities for cooking and we enjoyed self catering with lovely local produce from the nearby supermarket as well as good food at local restaurants. We really felt we got away from it all and it was a good base for Florence (by train) and Assissi and Perugia were lovely for day trips. We would go back any time and really miss our taste of luxury villa life (and the blue skies and sunshine!). Thank you Karin for a great stay! Cathy Rhodes.
On behalf of all our group I wish to tell Karin what a wonderful stay we had in her beautiful villa. We would also like to mention how wonderful her staff, Marianna and Arsenij, were. They were more than helpful. We are telling all our friends about this beautiful place. so we expect to fill it up in the future with Russian-Americans !!!
I must also say that Karin helped us greatly with our car problems.
Thank you so much. We had an absoluetely wonderful time and the weather was perfect. Everyone just loved your beautiful grounds and we all felt so refreshed and renewed at the end of our week's stay. Next year we are staying in the UK for our early summer retreat, but all being well we would love to return to Bagnaia in June 2010 - maybe for a two week stay.
Please pass on our heartfelt thanks to your housekeeper and gardener.

Golf: GUEST BOOK (continued):- Karin, We had a wonderful time at Bagnaia - when we arrived we were stunned by just how beautiful the setting was. It really is the perfect holiday retreat. Marianna was exceptionally kind, and made us feel very welcome. Casa di Scoccia itself is also beautiful - we felt at home straight away. It was the perfect introduction to Italy for us all and we will definitely return ! We fully intend to book again with you - we hope to see you again next year (Gill Jenkins - May 2006).
We all had a wonderful week., thank you so much. We all fell in love with your amazing gardens. Some of us are desperate to return already and I am trying to get a small group together to rent one of your smaller apartments for a week in early September. Having spent a most enjoyable week at your property I write to say thank you. We had a good time and would recommend the property to anybody. (Andrew Shackleton - June 2007)
