Cyprus For A Perfect Holiday:-: Cyprus is the third largest Island in the Mediterranean, it is an island of beauty and a country of contrasts. Cool, pine-clad mountains are a complete scene-change after golden sun-kissed beaches. Tranquil, timeless villages are in striking contrast to modern cosmopolitan towns. Luxurious beach side hotels can be exchanged for large areas of natural unspoilt countryside. Yet in Cyprus all distances are easily manageable, mostly on modern roads and highways - with a secondary route or two for the more adventurous. The summers are long and hot, fruit trees buckle under the weight of their bounty as do the vines, the grapes of which go into producing some fine local wines. The Island has long been of great strategic importance and boasts the legacy of many of its occupying empires, fortifications built by the Crusaders still stand. A holiday here is idyllic, there is lots to see and plenty to do, the welcome is warm and the weather likewise.
Local Shopping:-: Part and parcel of any holiday is the question of what to take home. Leather is very good value. The shoe shops stock up-to-date styles at very reasonable prices. Handbags, suitcases and jackets are a good bargain. Shoes and jackets, as well as men's suits and shirts, can be made-to-measure within a week or so. Handicrafts abound on every shopping street. A good spot to view them is the Cyprus Handicraft Centre in Lefkosia, with retail shops in every town. Small items of the distinctive, traditional pottery make good gifts as does Cyprus copperware and filigree silver. Always popular is the beautiful 'Lefkaritika' or ' Lefkara Lace'. Folkweave, needle and crochet work, woodwork and basketwork are a few more of the things visitors like to take home with them, not to mention Cyprus brandy which can be bought by the demijohn, Commandaria and even Halloumi - the Cyprus cheese.
Golfing:-: Paphos is the new jewel in the crown for golfers seeking golf breaks in the warmth of the eastern Mediterranean. It offers golfers challenging world class championship courses, warm hospitality and almost year round sunshine. There are three 18 hole golf courses to choose from. Tsada Golf Club which is just 20 minutes from Paphos town, 550 metres above sea level to ensure cool breezes during the summer months. It plays to a par 72 and measures 6,060 metres. The Secret Valley Golf Club is 18 kilometres east of Paphos lying within a scenic valley and offers panoramic views. It plays to a par 72 and measures 6,120 metres. The Aphrodite Hills Golf Complex is a unique up-market experience The 'Award Winning' Golf course is located near to the birthplace of Aphrodite, only 2 mins from the main Limassol-Paphos highway. The course is in a fantastic setting on 2 plateau, 300m metres high. It plays to a Par 71 and measures 6,665 metres.
House is nice and featured everything you need. Kitchen is well equipped, WLAN and IP TV gives some comfort but the biggest plus is the pool and the hot tub.
From the house it is easy to walk to the main street with tons of possibilities to get something to eat. (our recommendation: SiDaYes)
The street where the house is located is very calm and you will find always a parking place for the car.
We have enjoyed this house and we will recommend it.
We had a wonderful family holiday in this lovely villa which is located close enough to all amenities and the beach. You could walk 20 mins to the beach although with 2 young kids I would recommend a car as you may have a lot of Bach gear and it does make life that much easier. There is also so much to do and see in the area. The villa was perfect and was very well looked after. The kids loved the pool and the hot tub was a great extra as the pool water was just warming up coming into spring so was a bit chilly for a long swim. With the hot tub the kids could hop in and out and warm up as needed. Christine who arranged all details for the booking was fantastic and really looked after us from taxi to and from the airport and provided helpful info on all aspects in a very professional manner.
We loved Cyprus and the villa and will definitely come back!
Jansen and family
This villa is exactly as described the location is spot on five minutes walk to the restaurants , bars and shops of coral bay.
The villa itself is lush nice and modern with everything you could possibly need . The pool is a good size with plenty space to sunbathe & great views, hot tub was a great extra we used it a couple of nights drinks under the stars perfection.
We would defo recommend this villa to anyone we had a fantastic ten days . We went as two couples there was plenty of space and we couldn't fault it .
We managed to misplace our key down sofa one day and another one was dropped off next day by the management company they were really nice .
Special mention to Christine the manager , the whole booking process with you was easy and thanks for answering my twenty questions I asked while booking. Lol .
Thank you we had a fantastic holiday X
I have just enjoyed a week’s stay in a very hot and very sunny Cyprus. The villa is perfect on every level, and an absolute delight to stay in. Everything has been considered, there is plenty of cutlery, plates etc and it was spotless when we arrived. The pool area is a pleasure to sit beside both during the day and in the evening. The hotub looked good, but to be honest due to the outside temperature we never used it. The terrace is great to sit on, have a beer and watch the sunset, what more could you ask for when on Holiday (apart from sitting on the balcony attached to the bedroom, looking out to sea!)
The restaurants of Coral Bay are only 10 minutes’ walk and the villa is far enough back that you do not get any noise (being in a private estate with no though road helps!). There is lots to choose from, if you do fancy going out for food, and everywhere was so accommodating.
I would fully recommend getting a car to explore the Island, there is lots to do and to see. If you go to Nicosia, remember your passport as you can now cross the line.
I would fully recommend this villa for a perfect relaxing stay in Cyprus and hope to be back someday soon !
Being at the famous Coral Bay beach area and only 15 minutes drive from Paphos town and the famous harbor makes Paradise Sunset Villa the ideal location for a relaxed or fun filled beach holiday. There are several shops, banks, restaurants, snack bars, supermarkets and a medical centre just a 3 minute walk away, yet the villa is set in one of the quietest areas of Coral Bay. As evening falls the spectacular sunset from the Villas is not to be missed. There are many places of interest in and around Paphos a guide book can be found at your villa. Some of the most popular are the Troodos Mountains with its pine scented forests or closer to home the Paphos villages where time has stood still and friendly hospitality is the norm. The famous fishing harbor overlooked by the fortress where in the evening the tavernas that line the quayside come alive serving fresh fish and the traditional Cypriot 'Meze' is a 15 minute drive away. The market in Paphos' old town is worth searching out also.
