Excellent Location! Needs some TLC though

  • 3 of 5

Location is ideal for touring museums and sites in Paris! Overall tastefully decorated with all essentials covered but...needs some repairs and review of organization of supplies for more comfortable use. Kitchen is not well organized - while it looks great the problem is where things are plugged in and how items are stored that makes no logical sense - spent too much time rearranging and searching for basic items - need to get someone who cooks in the kitchen to set a plan and then have cleaners follow that organization every time. Written documentation needs to be updated for all items in flat - couldn't use washer/dryer or dishwasher because they were not fully explained in written forms and not able to figure it out ourselves either - also heating radiators were either ON full or OFF - couldn't get temperature regulated - TV and audio instructions also need to be in written form to help all guests use the amenities provided. Supplies need to be changed when worn out (sponges, towels, brushes, dish soap etc) Paper products and light bulbs also were worn out - no inventory in flat to use. Overall flat was OK but not quite as comfortable as we had hoped - however it was still better than a hotel especially when traveling with teenagers who need to have their own space for downtime after touring together all day.

Owner's Response: We always welcome our guests personnally, give them a guided tour of the apartment and show how appliances work. In addition to this, we do have a book in the apartment which explains everything and seems to be helpful to all our guests since no one ever complained about any problems concerning the use of the appliances, including heating system. We are available 24hrs/day, 7 days/week , by mail, sms or phone call, and always respond very promptly to any request, either by phone or by dropping by again.

Apartment SO MUCH better than hotel

  • 5 of 5

April 2016

As four friends traveling together, we enjoyed the benefits of having an apartment with a living room, kitchen and dining areas to use instead of staying in multiple hotel rooms. Although our plane arrived late, we were met at the apartment by staff who helped us with our luggage and introduced us to our "home away from home" while in Paris. There was also an information book and lots of Paris guide books available for our use while there. The location was GREAT with the local bakery (Gosselin) and grocery for daily shopping and we were within walking distance to the Louvre and Musee d'Orsay, as well as being near the Metro. We felt VERY safe walking to and from the apartment day or night. While there were no noises from street traffic, late at night we did hear some noisy residents coming home and had to deal with painters who were working in the hallway a couple of days during our week's stay. We've returned to the States with wonderful memories of conversation and food shared during breakfasts and dinners at the dining room table and packages we purchased along Boulevard de St. Germain.

I´ve stayed several times in this gorgeous apartment close to St. Germain Boulevard. The location couldn´t be better. Metro and bus stations a block away. Philippe and Sophie reply promptly to your inquiries. Strongly recommend this beautiful apartment.

Great Location and Apt.

  • 5 of 5

The rental and payment were all handled professionally and correctly and we were met at the apt by Sophie who showed us around. The apartment was great for us five adults with three relatively big bedrooms. The immediate neighborhood is mostly business and government so it was quiet and low key which was nice. The apt is isolated from all city noise and activity and was a great refuge after touring all day. The two sofas and adjacent dining table allowed us all to sit together and share our adventures. All systems worked fine and we had no complaints. There are several cafes within a block or two and sandwich shops just around the corner. Groceries were found a short walk west on Rue Du Bac. We walked to the Eiffel Tower, Louvre, Latin Quarter and Musee D'Orsay from this location. Metro and train stations are within a block. The washer and dryer allowed us to travel with carry-ons and that was a big plus. It is one floor above the ground floor but there is a small elevator if needed. We are looking forward to staying here again.

splendid spot

  • 5 of 5

Spacious and lovely spot. Very comfortable couches, three bedrooms, really tastefully apportioned. Smoke free, too. Location is stellar: right near the d'Orsay and two train lines, and within walking distance of, well, a lot of stuff. There's a Velib bike station at the end of the block and a boulangerie around the corner, plus a lovely courtyard that basically eliminates nearly all street noise. You will actually want to just live here.

A great place to stay!

  • 5 of 5

A group of five of us stayed at this excellent apartment for 8 days, and it was a wonderful experience. It is located a couple of blocks from the Musee d'Orsay, the Rodin Museum, the Musee d l'Orangerie, Place de la Concorde and the Jardin des Tuileries. And, with two Metro stops a minute or two away, access to almost everywhere in the city was a breeze.

The place is well decorated, has comfortable beds, a fully functional kitchen, a laundry, and it is well maintained. I commend this place highly!
