This 1200 s.f. two bedroom, two bathroom condo with sleeping loft and comfort sleeper in the living room in quiet, west-end neighborhood directly across from lift seven. Both bedrooms are on the lower level. The master has a high-end queen murphy bed and mattress set, 300+ count cotton linens and flat screen TV. The other bedroom has a king bed with a tempurpedic mattress set, large, wall mounted Roku TV. The living room has a King Size comfort sleeper which sleeps like a high end bed and the loft has a high end queen and twin beds. Designed like a townhouse, there are no neighbors upstairs or downstairs, and the next door neighbors have a firewall between you so it's quiet. The master bedroom has a steam shower and vanity, with additional vanity sink/mirror adjacent and a mini-fridge/freezer and microwave along with a separate entrance. Original artwork decorates the interior beautifully.
Both bedrooms have bureaus, flat screen TV's with cable and remote . Off of the living area are the kitchen which has a convection oven, ceramic stove, microwave, etc., complete cooking and serving utensils, pantry and full size LG frontload washer/dryer. We recently spent over $30,000 redoing the interior with upgraded finishes including a ventilating skylight in the loft as it was our home! Covered parking, a hot-tub and a swimming pool (only 2 swimming pools in Telluride!) and directly across from the ski lift and ticket window for easy access to in-town skiing.
There is a town loop bus that stops right next to the condo for a 2 min. ride to Main Street shopping and the FREE gondola. Buses come every 10 minutes, or walk 5 mins to downtown Telluride for shops, restaurants and nightlife. The local grocery store, Clark's Market is 100 yards to the north and the lift ticket office and ski lift are 100 yards to the south, right next to the indoor fitness center. Hiking trails are right out the door and FREE, covered parking is included as is the on premise swimming pool, hot tub, BBQ and more. Quiet and private, this is the best deal in town at this kind of price.

We purchased this condo to live in before we ended up moving more than a couple of times. We continue to rent this condo only during the Bluegrass week now, so it's our personal home. Enjoy our condo. We love it here.

This property is a livable home, not just a 'ski condo'. It has a full-size LG frontload W/D, a cooktop that really cooks... a convection oven that can hold a 30 lb. turkey. A full-size pantry that can store everything we use, plus lots of closet space. Covered parking in your own reserved space and a quiet place to sleep. This 'town-house' style condo has no neighbors above or below making it truly a restful place to come home to.

Perfect for a family and then some. The living room has a king size $6800 leather, comfort sleeper, that opens into a high end king size bed and not a regular sofa bed. There is a large, Roku TV in the living room and in both bedrooms. Dining table seats 8 with the optional center leaf. Pool and hot tub and grill in the common area.

Summer in Telluride
Telluride is truly a lovely, pet friendly town. Every household shows off its garden with beautiful flowers. There are lots of fine dining, all in walking distance. We had much fun walking on the trails by the river, strolling down the main street,. riding up/down the free gondola, etc.
The Lulu City Condo is conveniently located, and is spacious with plenty room for closets. drawers, pantries, etc. Kitchen is fully equipped with quality cooking and dining tools. The lower two levels are big enough for my party of 4 adults plus two large dogs.
My T-Mobile phone failed to get signals during much of our travel in the SW Colorado region, so I didn't get a chance to contact the owner on our day of arrival. We arrived very late. Not only we couldn't find our designated parking space in the garage (it's already occupied), we were beyond shock after we unlocked and entered the unit (the prior renters left the home in an unkempt and chaotic condition and the unit was not cleaned before our arrival). The owner answered my late hour panic call, and apologized to the situation. He stayed on the line to help me unlock owner's closet, so to retrieve a few mismatched linens to help us sleep through the night.
The cleaning lady was sent in after we finished breakfast next morning. She did a great job to turn the rental unit to a beautiful vacation home, and we got to enjoy the rest of our stay.
Owner was super responsive to all my questions and concerns, and he kindly refunded us one night's rent and cleaning charge. I would recommend this rental property to future guests, but do call to confirm your arrival to avoid what we experienced the first night.
Enjoyed LuLu City condo
We had a wonderful stay at this LuLu City condo. Lots of space and very clean. Everything just as listing and photos had indicated. Owner was available and helpful when we had minor questions. Would definitely recommend this place.
Telluride is beautiful with lots of outdoor activities for all experience levels and wonderful restaurants. Would definitely love to come back!
Great property and even better location
My stay was fantastic we had plenty of space for our group and the location couldn't have been more perfect. The property was very clean and check in/out was very convenient. I will definitely be returning on my next trip to Telluride.

Great Getaway place
Stayed here for a long weekend to see old friends and get in some spring skiing. The building is a bit of a maze but the unit itself is perfect. Very reasonably priced and was easy to access. We had everything we needed and were close to everywhere we wanted to go. It was nice having two private bedrooms as well as open bed-space near the living area for the early risers. Overall, an excellent deal.

4 Lady ski pals just spent 4 nights in this condo and can heartily recommend it for a ski vacation! The place wins in all the important categories:
PRICE: quite fair for Telluride at height of ski season. Plus a covered parking space is included.
LOCATION: LESS THAN 5 MINUTES WALK TO LIFT 7 ! Condo is on the free shuttle route , but more important it's only blocks to downtown. Grocery, bakery, restaurants and shopping are nearby. If you like to go out apres ski, you want to be within walking distance of town! Unless you don't go out at night, stay in the town of Telluride rather than Mountain Village.
COMFORT: THE HOT TUB WAS HOT! Skiers will appreciate this.. The condo has a wonderful steam shower in the downstairs bath and jetted tub upstairs. The beds are comfortable. The living room has big comfy sofas, large TV, and a big dining table seating 8. There's a circular stairway leading up to 2 beds in the loft. The kitchen is well equipped with quality cutlery and glassware . Another plus is having a washer/dryer.
Owner Neal always answers his phone and is helpful and available. 10% discount at his jewelry store for us...

good price and location - but description misleading and very dirty
We booked almost 7 month's out for our family's spring break vacation. We called Neal within 24 hours of arrival asking to be let out of our contract as the place was absolutely filthy. Extremely dusty, unclean, the loft (where our two daughters slept) had pills and bottle caps and crumbs under the beds. Certainly had not been as updated as the description. Lights were out in some rooms, track lights in main bathroom appear to have either been on fire or never been cleaned, some kitchen cabinets were missing nobs, trouble finding the tool to open windows, mismatched tv remotes that didn't work, etc. The pool was closed (which was a big reason we choose Neil's place) and had bottles thrown on the tarp cover (nice!). The hot tub was dirty and broken (no jets) and maintenance wasn't available to help. We drive a Toyota 4Runner and were unable to park in the garage as the roof is low and our standard ski rack wouldn't allow for the truck to get into the garage. We spent a 1 1/2 days contacting other properties to move and called Neil and he did let us out of the remaining days on contract - but refused to refund the cleaning bill - for a place that was filthy and one of the biggest reasons we left. I contacted VISA and since we booked so far in advance to hold the date it is difficult to get any refund. If you need a place last minute and don't care if the property is clean, updated, functioning - then go for it. Spring break for high school seniors would be a good match for this property. Our expectations were too high and we thought we had found a gem. You get what you pay for. LuLu City is an older and outdated property. I'm sure Neil will comment about how great the property is and how accommodating he was - please trust me on this. I still don't know why he wouldn't refund my cleaning bill??? I even told Neil as we were spending a day on spring break moving out to another location (maybe I should have charged him for the day lost during spring break) that my biggest gripe was how misleading his description of both the condo and property is. Not sure where all the other reviews that say how clean and updated the condo are coming from. We live in Denver and have stayed at almost every ski town in the state - far and away the mountain and town is great - far and away this place was the worst. Plain and Simple - Buyer Beware.
This family arrived at the end of a ski season and the town was mostly shut down. That's why they paid their very low rate and why it was worth it to me to refund their modest payment and get them the heck out of the condo.
If you read closely, they were not complaining about anything wrong with the condo except that there was some dust which we apologized for and told them we'd send over a cleaning crew. No, they complained about the fact that their jacked up SUV wouldn't fit into the garage. They bitched about the hot tub, the pool, the whatever... things individual owners have no control over because they are the type of people that bitch about everything. Lulu City has a brand new $3.1mm renovation plus we upgraded the master bedroom with a new tempurpedic mattress, new bedding through out, new flat screens for the bedrooms and a huge one for the living room, plus a steam shower, full-size maytag washer/dryer, jetted spa in the main bath, solid hickory floors and new paint through out. Telluride is not Breckenridge and it's not Keystone and it's not Vail. It's a tiny, isolated resort town that is stunningly beautiful but when you focus on your personal "stuff" like the fact that your monster, jacked-up SUV won't fit into the garage, you get angry about ridiculous stuff.
They said they wanted to leave town that the skiing was too hard for them and frankly, I was happy to see them go.
The best hiking trails in the western rockies right out the door. Sleeps 9 comfortably in beds.
