About Samantha

We met at Gemology school in San Diego, CA and found that we not only fell in love but shared the same passions for life. We chose to be jewelers by trade but we are designers by passion. We settled down in the Santa Barbara area and began to raise our two boys Ozzy and Cash. Being on an eternal search for the perfect place to live we just had not found it yet. Eric, born and raised in Mississippi and I in Idaho, Eric often spoke of this magical town in Tennessee called Leiper's Fork that he had visited as a teenager. We finally came for vacation July 4th, 2014 and I promptly fell head over heals in love! We were sitting out front of Puckett's drinking Ne-Hi soda watching our boys faces light up with joy as they chased the fireflies. Leiper's Fork chose us in that moment. Without delay we purchased our home on Joseph, now the Tin Roof Cottage, returned to Santa Barbara and moved here 20 days later. We never looked back, we now reside just 1 mile away from the Cottage. We are currently raising our boys in this marvelous community and we welcome you with open hearts. Warmly, Eric, Samantha, Ozzy and Cash

Why Samantha chose Tennessee

This home chose us, it provided us with a wonderful opportunity to raise our family in this great community. It was a stepping stone to what was to come, we had no idea that we would fall so in love with this town and the people that call it home. This was our first home in TN as a family and therefore this house is very special to us. We now own three vacation rentals on this street, as it has stolen our hearts and we know it will take a piece of yours too.

What makes this cottage unique

Tin Roof Cottage provides you with a unique opportunity to become immersed in a Norman Rockwell painting that has come to life. You will love getting lost in this great community but still have easy access to the city of Nashville and downtown Franklin.

Perfect place to stay in Leipers Fork

  • 5 of 5

This is one of the most amazing quaint houses I've ever stayed in on Homeaway /Vrbo. This house was situated in a perfect little quiet neighborhood. When we open the back door to enter the house it was like entering your grandmothers house with a modern twist. Samantha thought of everything when decorating this home. It was homey and comfortable and beautiful. Every time I walked around I found something new to look at from the beautiful chandelier over the dining room table to the cute light fixture in the bathroom with tiny little birds on it. We had everything we needed During our stay there. We had plenty of linens and towels and dishes and silverware. And plenty of beds too. This place sleeps nine. We enjoyed the beautiful town and the neighborhood and walked to all the shops and restaurants. We will be back. The Tin Roof Cottage was amazing and I also look forward to trying one of her other properties. Thank you Samantha for your warm welcome and letting us enjoy your beautiful home !

Beautiful and Quaint-EXCELLENT choice for our family

  • 5 of 5

This Tin Roof cottage is absolutely adorable, it has all the comforts of home from silverware to spices in the cupboards. We enjoyed cooking our meals as well as having smores at the well prepared fire pit in the yard. A short walk away from Leipers Fork where we enjoyed the shops and the delicious food at The Country Boy Restaurant. Sam and Eric, the cottage proprietors were extremely welcoming and accommodating, couldn't have asked for a better Tennessee experience. We will be back to visit again next year and Pot and Kettle Cottages has earned our business for sure. Highly reccommended -The Stull Family

We couldn't have asked for a more perfect stay!

  • 5 of 5

The house was beautiful, well stocked and a wonderful location! We spent Christmas here and the owners provided beautiful Christmas decor. Everything that we needed was there, along with excellent customer service. We loved the little community and shops. We might make this a new Christmas tradition.

We truly enjoyed our stay at the Tin Roof Cottage. Samantha was very attentive and helpful. The town of Leipers Fork is charming and offers quite a bit for such a small town. Franklin and Nashville are close enough to enjoy as well. We look forward to another stay sometime soon.
