The house was just as described, situated in a quiet cul-de-sac in a residential area of La Flotte.

This property was fully equipped for our needs and we enjoyed its calm atmosphere. La Flotte is a pleasant town with a small port and a beach. it is about 15 minutes walk from the house to the centre / port area and a little less to the nearest beach. The Ile de Re is an easy island to explore with everything within easy reach by car and not too distant for cyclists on the many dedicated cycle paths which are well signed and usually surfaced. Walking is easy too, as there are no real hills. It is also within easy reach of La Rochelle, an interesting city about 10 miles distant on the mainland.

We very much enjoyed our week in La Flotte although we felt the weather could have been a little better as it was quite windy for much of the week and there was some rain - having said that, the property's situation in La Flotte on the east side of the island helped to protect it from the prevailing westerlies.

Séjour très agréable

Nous avons passé trois semaines très agréables dans cette maison.

Elle est lumineuse,confortable,bien équipée,dans un quartier très calme et cependant proche de la plage et du centre ville.Elle est idéale pour le repos et des

vacances familiales.Les propriétaires sont charmants et d'une grande discrétion .

Nous les avons vus uniquement pour la remise des clés,à notre arrivée et lors de notre départ .

SUPER LOCATION

Nous avons été accueillis très chaleureusement par M. et Mme Guignier. La maison de plein pied est spacieuse, avec deux belles chambres, un grand séjour salle à manger. La terrasse couverte à l'extérieur nous a permis de prendre tous nos repas dehors. La cuisine est très bien équipée. La maison est située dans une impasse très tranquille et le jardin clos permet une intimité totale. Bien située, environ 10 minutes à pied du centre-ville, de la plage ou du port. Nous avons passé deux semaines très reposantes. Nous attendons l'année prochaine pour pouvoir revenir.

Maison très agréable

Maison idéale pour des vacances en famille: située sur une place calme, fonctionnelle, bien équipée et propre. Le jardin enclos, typique de l'île de Ré, est un atout pour la détente. Le centre ville est à 5 min en vélo.

Et les propriétaires sont charmants.
