Very clean and comfortable cabin. The cabin is very spacious and feels larger than it really is. I will definitely come back again in the very near future.
We enjoyed our stay in the Chalet very much. The cabin is actually much larger than the pictures seem. The upstairs loft is perfect for children and the kitchen and living room are both very large and inviting as well. We enjoyed sledding in the back yard which is also a good size since it is a corner lot.
We will definitely be back to spend more quality family time in the snow here!
Me and my family LOVED our stay in this BEAUTIFUL Cabin. This cabin is located in the perfect location very close to everything only like a 2 minute drive to Snow Summit which was great being that I had to drop off and pick up 2 teenagers very convenient for sure. Honestly the cabin couldn't have been anymore perfect felt like we were at home and not in a rented cabin which was very comfortable indeed! This will be our Cabin of choice next time we travel to Big Bear. Oh one more thing George O'Balle was available at anytime by providing us with his cell phone which proves honesty and trust fyi I never had to call him but having the number made me a little more at ease if anything was to go wrong or happen which was not the case at all!!!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!
I loved staying at this cabin. Mr. O'Balle's interior sense is amazing. Only issue was there is no A/C. It was very warm in day time. I am not sure about visiting here in summer but definitely in cool weather season. Mr. O'Balle concerns visitor's situation and does best to make our trip easy and comfortable. Thank you, so much.
The cabin was comfortable and exactly as promised. The refrigerator was not cooling down, when we arrived but a call to George was all that was needed to have it repaired. The cabin does get quite warm when closed up, but cools off nicely at night and the loft stairs are very steep so take care coming down them, one of our ladies fell. We had to buy wash cloths since only one was provided, and we did not use the hand held shower as there is no shower curtain and we were afraid we would soak the whole room. We went to the Alpine Zoo, The Miss Liberty Lake Cruise and Wine & Music at the Nottingham Tavern, all of which were very well done. The Lake fire put a damper on our last day and we decided to leave a day early due to the air quality. Otherwise, it was great.
