This unit in Hawthorne is minutes from LA attractions, shopping & entertainment.

Near LAX and great beaches (Manhattan, Hermosa, Redondo). New kitchen, great location, and comfortable. Spacious unit tucked between two families on a beautifully landscaped property. Close to shopping, entertainment, and the airport.

A beautifully remodeled unit of a triplex (only three units on the property) in a nice, walk-able west Hawthorne neighborhood. Family friendly as well as nice for couples or business travel. Easily sleeps up to 3 adults (1 queen bed and 1 pull-out full sofa bed). The sofa bed can fit two children.

Free WiFi and Netflix.

10 minutes to LAX

15 minutes to Manhattan Beach and Hermosa Beach

30 minutes to Downtown LA

45-50 minutes to Disneyland

Guest Access

A parking spot for one vehicle at the left end of the driveway (should feel comfortable going in reverse to get out of the driveway). Any seating area in the driveway and in the backyard is free to relax.

The neighborhood is nice and you will see people walking their dogs and running for exercise. We are the last multi-family unit before a predominant single family home area.

Getting around

We are close to buses, the green line (train) is only 2 miles away. It is much easier to get around by car, but bikes are also an option. A taxi to/from the airport ranges from $10-20.

Other Things to Note

Overall it is a quiet place, but occasionally neighbors can make some noise coming and going (the bedroom window is near a driveway for a 4-plex).

For young children we do have a Graco (pack n play) crib and a high chair available.

Manhattan Beach and Hermosa Beach are 4 miles away. Dockweiler beach has fire pits you can use and stay after sunset. Many museums and sites to see and do in Los Angeles. We are in a great spot to do it all. We are located in Hawthorne (home of The Beach Boys) and conviently located 1 mile off the 405 freeway.

Great place to stay near LAX

We were looking for a place that was close to LAX without actually being right next to the airport since we had an early morning departure flight. This apartment was in a great neighborhood with easy access to the 110 and the 405. It was super clean and comfortable. Contacting Lucy was very easy. Would recommend!

I have now stayed at this property numerous times both with my husband and a friend. The apartment is compact, clean and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. It is in a perfect location for everything.

Lucy is always close by and deals with any questions you have promptly. This also goes with the booking procedure.

Nice Little Unit

We stayed here for our anniversary the last few days. We were only there for 3 nights, so we wanted somewhere close to the airport, the beach, and reasonable driving distance to Universal. This worked great for us. Nice little unit for the price. Lucy was a gracious, very responsive host!

Perfect for our stay

Lucy was a great host. Her place was super clean and quiet. Private parking was a plus for us. We literally walked just 3 blocks to have amazing dinner at Al Watan Halal. I will definitely stay again with Lucy.
