Eagles Landing is a well-landscaped condo project with guests having access to three pools and several tennis courts. The location is just about perfect. You can get easily on and off Rt. 1 for access to outlet malls, restaurants, downtown Rehoboth, Rehoboth and Dewey Beach, and nearby amusements, or you can bike or jog under Rt. 1 at the nearby Rehoboth Canal and be at the beach in a few minutes. Jungle Jim is just north of Eagles Landing (.5 miles) and the Big Fish Grill is adjacent and an easy walk. Back toward Rehoboth Bay on Bay Vista Drive there are some great neighborhoods for walking and biking.
We offer this as a Sunday to Sunday rental for those who prefer to avoid the traffic congestion of Saturday arrivals and departures. This is an outstanding benefit that can help your family avoid hours of frustration sitting in traffic and more time enjoying your vacation.
Our unit has two large bedrooms and one small additional bedroom. The master bedroom has its own bath and is furnished with a double bed, a single bed, and a TV with Comcast cable. The second large bedroom is furnished with a queen bed and TV with Comcast cable and a DVD player. This room has a front deck for private outdoor relaxation and is adjacent to the second bathroom. The small bedroom, originally an office, has a single bed, bureau, and nightstand and is most suitable for a child or single adult. The large kitchen/dining room/living room area is furnished with a large dining table (seats six), two sofas, and comfortable chairs where all can enjoy programming on the new HD TV with Comcast cable and a DVD/Blue Ray player. Across the entire back side of the unit are a screen porch and an open deck (about half and half) furnished with comfortable chairs and tables for enjoying a relaxing view of the lilly pond.
The unit has one assigned parking space. Additional cars can be parked in some of the unnumbered spaces which are in close proximity.
Our unit is about 1.5 miles from the beach, which can be done by an enjoyable bike ride along the canal or a quick car trip. Ample parking is available or you can take a public bus system that will drop you off right at the boardwalk.
Sleeping capacity for the unit is three in the master bedroom, two in the second large bedroom, one in the small bedroom, and several more on the sleeper sofa or futon in the living room (6 - 8 total).
My sons live in Delaware and Maryland and I live in Louisiana now after many years in Maryland and Virginia. We have regularly vacationed in Rehoboth for the past 15 years.

We purchased this property so that we could continue to enjoy get-togethers throughout the year in one of our favorite vacation spots. We enjoy birding, hiking, biking (often renting from All Wheels just across Rt. 1), and kayaking in the spring and fall. In the summer we enjoy the nearby beach, the wonderful pools and tennis courts in the condo development, the water parks and miniature golf courses, and the many restaurants, museums, and shops of downtown Rehoboth and nearby communities such as Dewey Beach and Lewes.
We especially enjoy our screened porch on the back side which overlooks a small lilly pond where egrets and herons come and go. The big dining room table (six chairs) is the setting for many family board games such as Risk, Settlers of Cataan, and Scrabble. Jogging and walking through the neighborhoods of the bay side is also a favorite activity. The Big Fish Grill is just 200 meters away and is hard to resist!
I stayed here with four of my friends for a long weekend and we loved it! We've been doing this for 16 years and we all agreed this was our favorite place-I can't wait to go again! The condo feels a lot larger than I expected, because of the way it's laid out, and the fact that each room is pretty large. The two decks on the back overlook a beautiful pond, and one of the decks is screened in. It is also very private, because there is a large flowering tree directly behind it that shields you from anyone else.
Everything worked great, and was clean and well-kept. The owner always replied promptly, and asked immediately afterwards if we enjoyed our stay. The pool was perfect for us, with so many lounge chairs and tables, it never got crowded. There's also a bathroom with showers at the pool.
Another great thing about it was definitely the proximity of Arena's Deli, and The Big Fish Grill. We walked up to both of them on two different nights, and they're both nice places with great food, one more casual than the other.
Overall, our stay was wonderful, and we hope to stay again next year.
Stayed here with my girlfriend for a few days in early June. The condo was very clean and well kept. Everything was as advertised in the owner's description. Big Fish Grill is a short walk for a great, quick meal. Had a great time and will definitely check here first if/when we come back to Rehobeth!
My wife and I stayed at this condo for two weeks with another couple friend of ours to do some birdwatching and beach combing in the nice spring weather. We reserved the unit based on its location and price, and we felt we got a great value. The Eagles Landing development is beautifully maintained, and we watched many flowers spring up all over the property. The condo backs up to a very nice pond, where we saw some wildlife in the early morning including blue herons and other birds. There were also several nice tennis courts that we used, as well as a few pools, but they weren't open yet.
The unit itself was very nice and accurate to the description provided. Large HD TV in the living room with comfortable sofas had more channels than we realized! Another highlight was the two beautiful porches along the entire back of the condo with several tables and chairs - it was wonderful sitting out there while reading a book!
During the days we spent our time in the local area doing sightseeing and birding. One day we rented bikes at a nearby business and had fun exploring the area. We were also able to walk to the Big Fish Grill, which was great food and a fun happy hour. The condo was also very convenient to the outlets and shopping along Rehoboth Avenue (about a mile from the condo).
Overall we had a great vacation! The owner was very responsive over emails and got back to all of my inquiries immediately. The unit was extremely well maintained and had many nice perks like ceiling fans, a TV in each of the main bedrooms and a BlueRay player in the living room. We also appreciated that the bedrooms were spaced out so everyone had privacy and we didn't feel cramped at all. In fact, we felt the unit left quite large. We already set our reservation for later this summer for us and our children and grandchildren to enjoy the area during the summer.
Avoid the awful Saturday traffic and rent our condo from a Sunday to Sunday!! The condo is just west of Highway 1 in Rehoboth Beach and is about a mile and a half from downtown Rehoboth and the beach. Big Fish Grill is walking distance, and the outlet malls are just five minutes north on Rt. 1. Very close to Jungle Jim's water park (one-half mile), can be walked to by the energetic. You can rent a kayak or paddleboard for use in Rehoboth Bay at several places along Rt. 1. Bike or jog by Rehoboth Canal (under Rt. 1) into downtown Rehoboth and then all the way to Lewes (north) or to Dewey Beach and other points south. Rental bikes and scooters are available at All Wheels just across from the Big Fish Grill. Cape Henlopen State Park, 15 minutes away, provides hiking and birding. Numerous birding hot spots are located within a half hour's drive. Famous Bombay Hook NWR is about one hour drive north. Five minutes south on Rt. 1 takes you to the clubs of Dewey Beach.
