Amazing week!

  • 5 of 5

Place was everything it said and we had a blast. Two families with kids stayed comfortably and didn't need to leave the house. Everything from the lake to the jacuzzi, ping pong and camp fires. Made amazing dinners, coffee on the deck with that view, and love the tram to the dock. oh yeah, there just happens to be amazing boating, hiking, wineries and all the Finger Lakes has to offer close by. Owner was super nice and responsive - would totally recommend it.

Moonrise leaves permanent memories

  • 5 of 5

Tom,

What can I say. Your home is gorgeous. Your home had everything needed and more. You were super helpful on the phone as well. Nothing was old or out dated and you can tell you take great pride in the home. Had enough room for 8 people, the Jacuzzi was wonderful, the deck left us with great views. I could not have asked for a cleaner/nicer place to stay.

Thank you

Pleasant relaxing vacation retreat

  • 5 of 5

We were delighted with our stay at this lakeside house with our two daughters, son-in-law and grandchildren. There is a sloping lawn with a firepit at the bottom of it, and then there is a series of flights of wooden stairs going down to the lake and dock which I am guessing is at least 40 feet below the bottom of the lawn. I have a fear of heights since having recently had a bad fall, but the tram car which runs parallel to the stairs made it easy and pleasant for me to get down to the lake and back up again. Our small grandchildren (3, 5 and 6 years) loved the tram car, and the set of steps going down from the dock to the lake made it easy for them to get in and out of the water where they enjoyed swimming with lifejackets on that we brought for them. Swim shoes were good to have since it is not a sandy bottom. They also loved going for rides on the sailboard (using the kayak paddle) with their aunt. The dock has sunshine in the morning and shade later in the afternoon. The house was clean and there was no shortage of towels or any other amenities. Tom was very accessible and was able to help us by phone when we had trouble figuring out the DVD system when we arrived at the house. The nautical theme of the house was very pleasing and there were also lots of good books available to read. The hot tub was a lot of fun for adults and children. While staying at the house we went on the lunch tour on the Canandaigua Lady but the best attraction we saw in the area was the Sonnenberg Gardens where we had a personal guided tour on a little open bus. We also went to see the intriguing alpacas. Yes I would recommend this property.
