ABOUT THE HOUSE
Thoughtful design and Santa Barbara vibes are found throughout this home. You’ll enjoy plenty of sun and chic appointments throughout.
Stylish and sleek, the open concept gathering area features dark hardwood floors, recessed ceilings, and large picture windows with greenery views. Unwind in the living area, where you’ll find a comfortable sectional and large flat screen TV with cable. A powder room serves this space.
Open to the living area, the kitchen has a full suite of new stainless steel appliances and a dining set for 2. For quiet chats or to catch up on your reading, retreat to the den, where another sofa sits in front of a fireplace.
This room opens to your own private outdoor oasis—spend sunny afternoons in the pool and spa, then watch the stars come out from the outdoor lounge. The shaded terrace is home to more comfortable lounge furniture, as well as a BBQ and outdoor dining space for 4.
Four bedrooms each have their own unique perks. The master bedroom boasts a king-size bed, access to the yard and a quaint desk with greenery views. The tiled en suite bath has a glass standing shower.
Enjoy views of the terrace from a bay window with bench seating in the 2nd bedroom, where you’ll also find a queen-size bed and armchair. The 3rd bedroom is ideal for kids with two twins. Both have Jack-and-Jill entry to a full shared bathroom—the ideal setup for small families.
Accessed from the outside, the game room is fully stocked with beloved board games and doubles as a 4th bedroom a queen-size sleeper sofa.
Please note that the owners of this home occasionally occupy a separate structure in the yard, and also that the yard is not fully fenced in for dogs (so please bring a leash).
Tucked in the prestigious Golden Triangle section of Montecito, your rental places you within minutes of natural beauty and inviting shops and restaurants.
The beach is just a quarter mile away, and hiking trails that wind through the wilderness of Los Padres are within a 20-minute walk from your rental. The historic Biltmore is a 6-minute drive away.
Walk 10 minutes to Montecito Upper Village, where you can enjoy gourmet Italian cuisine at Pane E Vino or casual fare at Via Vie. Put aside some time to visit the upscale salons or pick up something for home from the wine and cheese shop.

It is a quality home with nice bedding, a good kitchen and nice landscaping. The management company communicated well and everything went smoothly.
On the critical side:
- the home smelled musty upon entry ever time,
- the second bedroom while nice needs window covers on one of its windows, else you will be waking up with the sun,
- kitchen cabinets need knobs.
- this should be strictly advertised as a 3 bedroom with an ancillary small room with a pull out. Saying its a 4 bedroom home is disingenuous. I know some may call be sexist but for me the only person who would be okay using that 4th bedroom would be a 12 - 20 year old male. I wouldn't want my daughters being out there and no adult would desire that bedding.
This was an easy, simple experience which went very smoothly. The house is comfortable and very well located. The fourth room has a sofa bed, not a real bed which is a shame.
To clarify, this review is for the property at 593 Picacho. We initially rented a house nearby on E. valley rd but the water heater conked out and Turnkey Vacation Rentals absolutely fixed the problem by immediately moving us to another larger and nicer place at no additional cost. The house was larger than we needed but would be ideal for groups of 6-8. Great outdoor area with pool. Too cold to swim now but still nice to sit outside in the sun. Close to SB but not in the middle of the high traffic. Also some nice restaurants and shops nearby if you don't feel like driving too far. We had breakfast at Jeanine's and dinner at Tre Lune and both were excellent. This property is a good fit for a large family that wants some peace and quiet and doesn't need to be walking distance from downtown SB or the beach.
We loved it! The decorations and accommodations were better than any hotel. The location was amazing. It was such a great experience.
The house was clean and when we couldn't get in because the door code was not updated, we got a call from the property management within 10 min. Unfortunately the house didn't have enough indoor seating at a table for 8 people. 1 table seated 2, and another seated 4 in the living room. The kitchen needed more than 1 roll of paper towels and the 4th bedroom off of the main house was not finished. Wires were still hanging off the wall for lights and you couldn't lock the door to protect your personal items. Although the house accommodates dogs, there is no fencing in the back yard to stop them from going to the front road. So that means leash time or monitoring anytime they are in the backyard.
The pool and jacuzzi were exceptionally clean and very relaxing once the controls were figured out.
I would recommend this house to 4 older adults, no dogs
