About the property

This small house with unassuming equipment but very complete and functional has been decorated by our good offices. A lot of storage spaces are at your disposal. You will enjoy the conservatory, the days when the mistral blows a gale. At every moment you could enjoy the shady garden or get a tan on the deckchairs. Your car will be well sheltered in the garage, from where you will access the villa directly.

So quiet and comfortable

  • 5 of 5

We chose to stay at Villa Tarascon because it is conveniently located between the sites we wanted to visit - Pont du Gard, Camargue, St Remy, and Arles.

The gite is a self contained house with a very pleasant conservatory looking onto a spacious garden. It is in a quiet area of Tarascon, yet not far from the centre of town. The kitchen is fully appointed, and the bedrooms are comfortable. There is secure under cover off street parking. Villa Tarascon is within walking distance of a boulangerie.

Maryse and Rene gave us a warm welcome, and provided lot's of useful information about the region. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Villa Tarascon.

Gîte a recommander

  • 5 of 5

  • 5 of 5

Absolument excellent

  • 5 of 5

Located in the middle of the triangle: Avignon, Nimes, Arles (the Camargue), our small town provides many possibilities of visits and leisure within an 80 km radius. Arles and Nimes with their beautiful roman vestiges and theirs ferias (Easter and Pentecost), Les Baux de Provence and Saint-Rémy de Provence famous in the entire world. Avignon and it bridge but above all the Popes Palace. The Luberon, Roussillon and its red ochre canyon, Gordes and its bories (dry stone huts) etc. Aigues-Mortes with the rampart of Saint-Louis, Le Grau du Roi, the beach and the wine of the sand!! The Camargue and the Saintes-Maries de la Mer where we could show you beautiful areas still protected. From June to September there are events after events about our cultural heritage: shows and bull races in the bullring, concerts with folk bands, parade with herdsmen and inhabitant of Arles, carts of Saint-Eloi. The celebrations of the Tarasque in Tarascon, are the last weekend of June.
