My home is unique because it is located among agricultural farm land and feels private and secure. Yet a shopping center is only 2.5 miles away and Kailua Kona is only 8 miles away.

Great sunsets; Cool mountain air at night. Large 1200 square foot lanai (deck) over looking the ocean. Partially covered so even if it rains you can enjoy the lanai. The sitting area, lounge chairs and living room set make you want to spend all your time here.

Hot days cool nights

This was a gorgeous house with beautiful views from the deck. Make sure you take binoculars as we we were able to watch a whale one day. This house was very clean and well maintained. The master bedroom was incredible with a gorgeous bathroom. We felt very safe and it was very quiet except the roosters in the morning. The kitchen has all the necessities for great cooking. The days were very warm but the evenings cooled off and it was very comfortable to sleep. Thanks for having us. D&J

Serene, spacious and above it all on the Kona coast!

We stayed at Black Manta Farm for 4 nights. Elaine (on-site manager) was welcoming and accommodating since we had a late flight in. The house and surrounding gardens are beautiful and lush. There's also a small koi pond with a bench. This is a unique house with a rambling floor plan, so you have a lot of privacy. We loved spending time out on the huge lanai. The kitchen was furnished with everything I needed to cook with, and a grill was a big plus. As avid gardeners we peppered Elaine with questions about the flowers, fruit and vegetables...she was fun to visit with, but not at all intrusive. And she also brought us the most amazing avocados, oranges, and Ruby Red grapefruit from the farm. Furnishings are luxurious with a lot of Hawaiian artwork. Be aware that you are higher up, so will experience cooler temps at night as opposed to down at the water. Refreshing. Beds were very comfortable, as was the furniture. There will be lots of birdsong, insect, frog and chicken noises after dark. I slept thru it, but sometimes a rooster woke my husband. Depends on how light a sleeper you are. Something to consider if you are an extremely light sleeper. I would say the many pluses of this house more than outweigh the enthusiastic sounds of nature. We hope to return here on our next trip to the Big Island! Mahalo, Elaine and Warren!

Delightful Big Island Getaway

Our stay at Warren's coffee farm was just lovely, and we were delighted that it was even more spacious and well appointed than the property description and photos. Located off the beaten path, we were a quick drive to beautiful beaches, activities and commercial areas. Warren and Elaine were very responsive, and Elaine greeted and showed us around the property upon our arrival. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend. The accommodations and amenities made a special trip all the more memorable! Thank you to Warren and Elaine!

Perfect place

My family and me (5 persons in total) spent 4 nights at Warrens place and we absolutely loved it from the very first to the very last minute! Eileen welcomed us very warmly and explained us the whole house in all details, gave us some very good recommendations about beaches, snorkeling and things do to. Mahalo Eileen! The property is in the midst of a coffee farm with fantastic views from about 450m above sea level to the west coast and the mountainside. Inside it is just outstanding extraordinary wonderful. Gorgeous views from all the rooms, even the bathroom. Wonderfully styled, great furniture and art and very well equipped, especially the kitchen. About 5-10 minutes to the shopping center and great snorkeling place and 10-15 minutes to Kona. We totally enjoyed the huge lanai with the barbecue. We were happy to have met Warren on the day of our departure. Mahalo Warren for having shared your superb property with us. We would definitely come again, if we do the long travel from Germany again! It could not have been better! Absolutely recommendable!

Best choice

Three friends and me spent four nights at this beautiful place. We enjoyed every minute here. It is a fabulous spot to relax and see the sunset from the lanai. We found everything we needed and even more. It was all clean and nicely prepared. I am happy we choose this place.

A very special house!

What a treat this property is! Just far enough from town to give it a calm country feel but still close enough to all the necessities. The pictures don't do the house justice - it is absolutely beautiful and has been designed so thoughtfully. Every need and comfort is planned for - from towels, blankets, cookware, spices to even bug spray! Eileen is a wonderful host and Warren was excellent to work with. My family's stay on the island was made extra special thanks to the great times we shared grilling and chatting on the lanai, enjoying our morning coffee looking at the stunning views and taking in the soothing sounds of the pond on the porch. I'd love to be back one day!
