Ka’anapali Beach is recognized as one of the top ten beaches in the world. The spectacular natural setting, along with the many amenities of this vacation paradise, make for an outstanding vacation setting for people of all ages.

It is a short walk to Black Rock for snorkeling with tropical fish and turtles and a wonderful place for long walks along the beach. In addition, numerous water activities are available directly along Ka’anapali beach including catamaran trips to whale watch, snorkel along the coast, scuba diving, parasailing, fishing, surfing, wind surfing, and kayaking/Stand up paddle boarding. Ka’anapali includes 2 world class golf courses (5 min walk).

The Whaler Village is next door and offers luxury shopping, restaurants, and free evening entertainment in the courtyard. A promenade extends the length of Ka’anapali Beach and provides walking access to many luxury hotels with luaus, restaurants, barefoot bars, live entertainment, and additional shopping.

The old whaling village of Lahaina is just up the road and offers additional areas to explore and enjoy. Tours of other locations on the island can be easily booked through the concierge or rent a car and explore the island from the wonderful home base of the Whaler condominium.

The Whaler amenities include a swimming pool (beach towels and beach chairs are provided free to guests from the pool side kiosk), hot tub, exercise room, beach side gas barbecue grills (a favorite gathering spot in the evenings), FREE wireless internet, tennis courts, spa, and a concierge to help with booking activities, and covered parking.

We live in the Beautiful city of Kelowna BC, Canada. located in the Okanagan Valley and known as the Napa of The North for it's great vineyards and orchards. We feel privileged to live there in the summer months and in Maui for part of our winter.

We've been coming to the Whaler for many years and always wanted to have a 2nd home here. The Whaler has gone through many upgrades. Just Completed...our Totally New Lobby. Newly resurfaced tennis courts, workout room, Free Beach chairs, and towels.Free Kaanapali shuttle service, The beach is wonderful, water clear and warm and the weather has less rain than many other areas of Maui. Snorkel to the famous Black Rock. Sunset Sailing cruises pickup right from your beach. Walking distance to 36 hole signature golf courses and driving range. Walk to shops and restaurants on the beach in Whalers Village.

What makes this condo unique

By Far, a Ground Floor unit, that's elevated for the ocean view, with a lawn and front yard rather than lanai railings. We rarely use elevators or hallways but walk off the lanai and it's steps to the beach, pool, bar-b-ques and walkway. Late afternoon shade is wonderful after a day in the sunshine! This is ideal for our 7 grandchildren! Although they don't all stay with us at once!!

Beautiful, Convenient Condo

We just returned from a ten day stay in this great condominium. It is beautifully decorated and has been maintained to the obviously high standards of its conscientious owners. Their pride of ownership is apparent.

There were only two of us, but four adults would be very comfortable given the spaciousness of the unit and the availability of a second bathroom The unit, despite being on the first floor, has a terrific view of the beach and ocean. It opens onto a large, grassy area that is very private and gives you a feeling of expansiveness that the units above the first floor do not.

Dianne was easy to work with and was extremely accommodating when we had an issue related to our final payment to the Whaler due to a medical problem. We appreciated her help with this a great deal.

We have stayed at the Whaler many, many times over the past 20+ years.

We have stayed in each of the unit configurations (studio; one bedroom, one bath; one bedroom, two bath; and two bedroom, two bath) at least once. This is one of the nicest units we have stayed in, it’s very comfortable for up to four people, and the owner is terrific.

Excellent property.

Loved this condo. We have stayed at others at The Whaler, and we like this one the best. Well maintained and top notch kitchen with plenty of good name-brand appliances. Enough dishes, forks, knives, etc. and cooking pots and pans. We do cook when we are there and this kitchen is perfect for that. Not just cheap junk, just to get by. Bed was very comfortable and furnishings were very nice. Plenty of storage space for clothing, etc. and plenty of hangers. We will definitely return. Management company is very personable and easy to deal with.

We just returned from our vacation and this condo was perfect for my family.

The condo was exactly as described and had everything we needed. We cooked many of our meals here and never thought of anything we wished we had. The fact that the unit is on the ground floor and just one away from the ocean was wonderful. We were there with our toddler, and being able to walk right out without using the stairs was incredibly convenient. Two of our vacation days we didn't even get in the car. We swam in front of the condo, walked down to Black Rock and snorkeled, and had dinner next door at Whalers Village. The location really can't be beat. The condo is nicely updated and this was the cleanest vacation rental we have ever stayed in. It was a bonus to have some hotel-like amenities available as well, particularly that we could use pool/beach towels. Dianne (the owner) was very responsive answering my questions. She was able to arrange for a pack-n-play to be in the unit for my toddler which we really appreciated. A washer and dryer were located down the hall from the unit and were free to use. I wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

Wonderful location and beautiful accomodations

I brought 2 of my kids (ages 21 and 14). We all loved the location so close to the beach and the view of black rock. It was so peaceful to sit on the patio in the mornings (with coffee) and in the evenings (with wine). The condo looks newly remodeled and is gorgeously done. Everything is conveniently located (pool, ocean, dining, shopping, gym, BBQ, and lobby). The Pandora account on the flat screen was a lovely touch when entertaining. The owners were very nice and made everything so easy. It's a great place for families. Would not hesitate to recommend.

Great stay with great views

We had a fantastic time at Whaler 108! The owners have everything you can imagine to make this a great temporary 2nd home! It was especially good for our 2.5 year old toddler, and the extra grass area on this ground floor unit made it feel much larger. The baby enjoyed running around and playing while we enjoyed views of Black Rock and the ocean. The owners also had a variety of beach and swim gear for us to use. Also, the kitchen was stocked with everything you can image for cooking. And seeing the ocean from both rooms of the condo was a nice treat! And it was great to just walk to the ocean within seconds from our patio. We would love to stay here again for any of our return trips to Maui and we highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing, convenient place in an amazing location with amazing views!
