We had a great time
Close to everything and cozy
Thank you for the kind words and taking such great care of our home.
We hope to have you back again!
Enjoyable Friends Ski Weekend
Tim's home was lovely and just the right size for our group. He was very easy to get in touch with and was very responsive when one of our group member's couldn't find the entrance to complex late at night.
Rooms & spaces are nicely separated for privacy (we had 11 adults) and separate living spaces allowed for people to sleep early and hang out late at the same time.
Easy to get to surrounding ski mountains (went to JF/BB & Camelback) and not far from stores (within 30 min drive depending on what you're looking for).
Would definitely stay again!
Older but warm feel
Our stay was nice. Older home but very warming. Close to skiing and tubing.
Dirty with Broken advertised Ammenities
We found the cabin was misrepresented in both the advertising and description.
" Adult 8 ft slate pool table" The pool table was not not useable, unstable and the rail was coming off with damage at the side center pocket. The shuffle board table was damaged and not playable. The top was gouged the score tiles fell off and there was no table powder to ease friction.
"Stove" The kitchen stove drip pans were covered in old baked on food crude, the knobs that operated the stove were melted and one not functional. What I assumed was a food pantry in the hall between the bath and the kitchen was full of miscellaneous. items including cleaning chemicals. " Microwave" The microwave did not fully function. The turn table did not operate and some cooking times failed.
"Deck" The deck railing was unsafe with some broken pickets. When resting your hands on it it would bow out. There was a large crack in the support post.
"The house has been cleaned prior to your arrival. Please leave it as you found it, clean"
The house was dirty, the bathroom has mold, spiders and cobwebs in every corner. A stain in the middle of the kitchen rug. It had unpleasant odors. This is not a clean home. The vertical binds did not work or have ways to operate them
As you can see from previous reviews this is not the case. The house has working pool table and shuffleboard game. I ask all tenants to contact me when they arrive and inform me of any issues. I was contacted by the party upon arrival and told the house was fine. I did get a question about the wifi and fireplace which were handled immediately.
Then no contact from Richard with exception of a thank you and have a safe trip home.
I've been renting my home since 2004 and take great pride in my reviews. Unfortunately there are some people you can't make happy. This review was not from the renter but his bitter mother in law who is not the renter of record.
Great location, clean home, would definitely rent again
The house, beds, and bathrooms were all clean on arrival. Everyone in my group of 9 had a place to sleep comfortably. Tim has a great outdoor space with a spacious deck and an outdoor grill. Everyone had a great time there were no issues in reaching Tim I would definitely recommend this rental to groups looking to enjoy a quiet and relaxing getaway.
This house was really nice. Had lots to do and would recommend to anyone. The whole family enjoyed it. Thanks to the owner Tim for allowing us to rent for the week.
