So welcoming and charming!

  • 5 of 5

From the day of booking, Julia was nothing but helpful and hospitable. Upon arrival, we were greeted with a bottle of wine and a bowl of fresh fruit, which was just what we needed after a long day of travel. The Studio was a perfect place to stay, while exploring wine country for the first time. Everything was organized, clean and accessible! I'd be more than happy to stay again at Julia's Studio, and I would gladly recommend this to others traveling in the area.

Restful relaxation in the heart of tranquility.

  • 5 of 5

I grew up in Petaluma and never explored Graton and Occidental until now. Now older and .... wiser :) I found a long weekend at Julia and Russ' studio to be the perfect place to do the wonderful things the area has to offer. All the previous comments about the hospitality, the small things like the fruit, special wine, coffee, cream etc. were splendid and added to the experience. Good running trail from Graton to Forestville, wineries (Merry Edwards and Dutton Goldfield are favorites), dining, outdoors- makes me want to move back! Even the rain didn't stop from having a wonderful time !

Studio Delight

  • 5 of 5

I had the pleasure of spending 2 evenings in this comfortable & cozy studio. The fresh fruit, 1/2 & 1/2, wine, chocolate & tea were very unexpected but much appreciated touches. The towels & linens, soaps & shampoos were soft & lovely. I loved having the small patio off the bedroom & the plants & flowers were so nicely cared for. I'd love to come back with my husband & try the suite. A great getaway!

So romantic and I'm coming back!!

  • 5 of 5

I wanted to do something extra special for my boyfriend for his birthday so I planned a surprise trip to Sonoma Valley and when I came across this charming place I had to read the reviews and see what others were saying about it. The little house was so clean, quiet, well appointed and comfortable. The owners left us bowel of fruit, coffee, extra toothbrushes, and a bottle of wine!!! We toasted our stay immediately. The location is very close to the tiny town of Graton. Which has yummy restaurants and a market. We went for walks around the area and enjoyed the vinyards right across the street. We were so close to many wineries and truly enjoyed our stay.

Great property to for a wine country stay

  • 5 of 5

Perfect place to stay in the Sebastopol Pinot area. So close to downtown Graton for food and that morning coffee. The studio was even a bit larger than expected. We enjoyed the outside patio as the weather was so nice during our stay. I would recommend and stay here again the next time in the area.

Clean, Quiet, and Pleasant

  • 5 of 5

My wife and I were up in wine country for a friends wedding and found "The Studio" to be much more spacious than the name implies, as well as clean, well-stocked, and generally pretty convenient (~20 minutes to Healdsburg and 10-15 to Santa Rosa). It was easy to find the place as well as grab the key from the lock-box so we could check in whenever we wanted. There was wine bottle in the fridge, some extra toiletries, and some fresh fruit waiting. Most importantly, we slept like quite soundly with a comfy bed and no noise to be heard.
