About Bahia Azul unit 4A
This is an upgraded modern fully equipped 2 bedroom 2 bath condo ideal for the entire family. Situated right on the beach in the town of Jaco. The condo has a complete full size kitchen with newer appliances.
Note: Minimum stay is 5 nights. Weekly rates apply for 7 nights or more. up to 27 nights. Monthly rates apply for 28 nights or more.
Rental rate quoted is for occupancy by 2 adults only. additional fees apply for each additional person.
The living, dining and kitchen are open concept with 2 walkouts to 2 private patios and the pool deck. This ground floor condo is also easily accessible for those with limited mobility. Full ocean and pool views from the living areas and patios. The condo is completely family friendly and is also equipped with a crib and high chair for guests with toddlers.
The master bedroom features a king size bed and ensuite washroom with double sinks. The guest bedroom has 2 twin beds and both bedrooms have ample storage and closet space. The guest bathroom as well as the en suite for the master feature modern shower fixtures with dual shower heads including a hand shower.
The beds in both bedrooms have new mattresses replaced in 2013.
The condo is gated and has an on site 24/7 security guard and on site property manager. The pool is one of the largest pools in the Jaco area and is excellent for doing laps or just having fun. Deck lounge chairs and tables are provided. You can enjoy warm tropical breezes off the ocean and the most spectacular sunsets right from your doorstep. The condo also has free long distance calling to anywhere in North America, Free WiFi and cable TV.
The town center of Jaco is only a five minute walk where you can enjoy all the amenities of that Jaco has to offer including restaurants, shopping, bars, casino and adventure or Eco tours. Pharmacies, health care, and emergency services are also close by. Jaco beach is a very popular surf spot so you can expect a lot of activity on the beach as well as in town.

I am Dieter Billnger the owner of Bahia Azul condo unit #4A in Jaco Costa Rica. I am a retired engineering technologist. This condo is my home away from home especially during the cold Canadian winters. The rest of the year I offer this unique opportunity to enjoy one of the best locations in Costa Rica for family adventures or just relaxing or mingling with the friendly locals. Unlike a self contained resort there is plenty of opportunity to explore a safe and wonderful environment.

This condo is family friendly and will accommodate tots and toddlers under age 5. there is a fold up playpen / crib available as well as a high chair for small children. The condo is on the ground floor making it easily accessible for strollers and visitors with limited mobility. No stairs to climb or other barriers.
Most of the locals can speak some English. Language difference shouldn't be a problem. There are many good restaurants in Jaco with a variety of specialties and of course the local fare. The food is excellent no matter where you go. You can also enjoy the wares of the farmers market held every Friday right behind the condo. A large selection of fresh fruit and vegetables as well as a variety of Mennonite baked goods and of course some local handcrafts are available.
Condo is well located across from the beach and within easy walking distance of all of Jaco's restaurants, groceries, tours, etc. Pool is huge, clean, the perfect temperature, and there were plenty of chaises. Grounds were well maintained, security guard was on site at all times. Condo 4A was well situated, ample space, everything we needed for cooking and a large washer/dryer. We had an awesome time and I would highly recommend this condo; we would absolutely choose this location/condo again when staying in Jaco.
Soccer is the national sport of Costa Rica. There are 2 soccer fields in Jaco one of which is right behind the condo. Regular games are played on Wednesday evening. The other field is on Calle Pops just up the street from the Super Compro grocery store. You can sit and watch for free almost every evening while enjoying a cold beverage at the Pinto Gallo Restaurant.

1 - The condo management company (Daystar Properties SA) charges $75.00 USD per week for paying guests. This is to cover administration costs which include providing you with full concierge services as well as your access key card etc. Local federal and municipal taxes are also paid out of this fee. This is a fixed rate which is added to your total.
2 - The average electricity usage has been calculated to be $60.00 USD per week. You will be charged extra for excessive electricity usage above the average. Please use electricity wisely to both conserve energy and to keep costs and usage within reasonable limits. Please note that electricity rates in Costa Rica are very expensive. Careless use of electrical appliances, lighting, air conditioning etc resulting in excessive electricity rates.wil be deducted from the damage deposit.
3 - A $500.00 USD damage deposit is required The deposit will be refunded in full or part 30 days after check out.
Renters are responsible for all damage to the condo and it's contents.
