Perfect stay!

  • 5 of 5

We loved this place. It was very comfortable and just as described. It was clean and well maintained. The kitchen was well equipped and had everything we needed to prepare the perfect meal. The bed was comfortable with soft sheets and the bathroom towels were big and fluffy.

From the patio we watched the local boaters go by in the bay in front of the house. From the upstairs balcony we watched sunrises and beautiful sunsets.

It was fun to walk to the jetty at Captain Cons and watch people fishing. There was always something different to see, we even spotted dolphins a couple of times.

Owners left a binder with suggested outings and brochures of local restaurants as well as books on local birds, fish and history of the island. There are so many interesting things to see and do. Our time went by too quickly.

Old Florida at its best!

  • 5 of 5

We spent a month at this town house in Bokeelia, on Pine Island. If you like to fish, this place is for you. It is also convenient to Cape Coral and Ft Meyers. We even took day trips to Venice, Naples, and Sanibel/ Captivia Islands, all within a couple hours drive, even closer if you have a boat. If you truly want to get away from it all we highly recommend this home. The owner was a joy to work with and altho we experienced no problems, we are sure if we did, they would be handled promply.

Owner's Response: I' m glad you enjoyed your stay in Bokeelia. Not being a fisherman myself (although my husband is), I know there are other activities to enjoy here. Kayaking and swimming in the pool are two of my favorites. Hope you enjoy the remainder of your time in Florida.

Owner's Response: So glad everything worked well for you. I don't have control over the fish so I'm always happy to hear that they have cooperated!

Fabulous location and rental

  • 5 of 5

This is a well kept, cozy wonderful place to stay and do some serious fishing. The owners were always accessible if we wanted to ask questions, etc. Only footsteps to the pool, and footsteps to the boat lift making our priorities readily available. We bring bikes and use them on the wonderful bike trails on the island. An extra treat is to bike or walk to Captain Con's to get a piece of pie and watch the sunset! Well appointed kitchen, hardwood floors, gas grill with full propane tank ready to use. Starfish in the water outside the unit and plenty of birds, pelicans to greet your boat hoping you have fish to clean. Would recommend this wonderful place in a heartbeat, but saying that with regret as if a great secret has been told. We hope to return as well if the owners will have us. Thanks so much for allowing us to stay!

Owner's Response: You were terrific renters. So glad you had good fishing, enjoyed the pool and bike rides. We appreciate how well you took care of our place. We would love to have you return. If you do come back, try the mesquite grilled hogfish or grouper at the Lazy Flamingo.

Great View

We stayed at this condo for a month at the end of Nov and into Dec and loved every minute of it. We have a Lab who also loved her visit to Fl. The condo is wonderful and the owners are great to work with. Great lift for our boat and great view. Everybody in the complex were very friendly. Great place to stay. Pattie Dave & Macy Montgomery
