Family who takes loving care of their home in East Hampton.
Beautifully situated on a quiet street, close to a peaceful bay beach and close enough to town of East Hampton. Tons of space - light and airy!
Folks love the big front yard, porch swing rocking chairs on the front porch, hammock in the back yard, outdoor grill for dining and views of the horse pasture. House is impeccably decorated - keeps people coming back!
The property is absolutely stunning!
It was a wonderful time away in the Hampton's at a beautifully designed and decorated home that looks brand new. Outside, the home sits on a private road, large landscaped backyard, gated all around, hidden by beautiful trees and bushes, its secluded from neighbors. The pool is large, contemporary styling, especially when lit up at night. Inside the rooms are large and well furnished, the kitchen is amazing, everything you need with luxurious design. The Owner is very friendly, honest and a pleasure to deal with. I definitely recommend this property for anyone searching for an amazing home to stay while in the Hampton's.
We rented for the month and couldn't have been more happy. The house feels like a designer magazine. We enjoyed the hammock, pool and nearby beaches. So quiet at night we slept so well. Tons of light and fresh air, east Hampton is not be missed. This is a slice of heaven!
We had a group of 5 who stayed at the house for 2 weeks. The property is brand new, you walk into a beautiful open air foyer and are immediately struck by the designer feel to the entire house. We enjoyed the quiet of the neighborhood and peace of the property. Ended up having many outdoor lunches and bbqs. We drove into town a few days - can recommend Waldbaum's for groceries, Stuart's seafood in Amagansett had great seafood as well. East Hampton point down the road was a hit to watch the sunsets. Also - we rented paddle boards on Three Mile Harbor road, lots of fun. Maidstone is the closest bay beach, lots of fun! will def be back next summer. se bonne!
We stayed for the long weekend (4 adults, 2 children) and had an excellent time. The house is extremely spacious, well furnished and felt like a real getaway. The kitchen is large and fully stocked, beighborhood was quiet, across from a gorgeous pasture. We walked down to Maidstone Beach, had dinner at Michael's one night (would also recommend Nick & Toni's and East Hampton Grill) and shopped around the fund shops in East Hampton. Felt like a real getaway - near the town but in a rural/beach setting. Thanks again, we will be back!
The Town of East Hampton is located in southeastern Suffolk County, New York, at the eastern end of the South Shore of Long Island.
The town includes the village of East Hampton, as well as the hamlets of Montauk, Amagansett, Wainscott, and Springs. East Hampton is a peninsula featuring eight state parks. It is bordered on the south by the Atlantic Ocean, to the east by Block Island Sound and to the north by Gardiners Bay, Napeague Bay and Fort Pond Bay.
East Hampton's reputation as an artists colony began with painter Jackson Pollock, who resided in Springs, New York in the 1940s and 1950s, with Lee Krasner, at what is now known as the Pollock-Krasner House and Studio. Many of his most famous paintings were painted in the barn, which he had converted into a studio. The property is now open to the public for tours, by appointment. Among the other artists who popularized East Hampton as an artists colony were Willem de Kooning, Mark Rothko, Franz Kline, Ian Hornak, Larry Rivers, Alfonso Ossorio, Robert Motherwell, Andy Warhol and Thomas Moran, as well as art dealers Leo Castelli and Ileana Sonnabend.
Apart from the history of the area, there is tons to do in the Hamptons! We are a 10 minute walk from a gorgeous bay beach with picnic area, restrooms and swimming area with lifeguards and plenty of parking. We are an easy drive to the village where there are fabulous restaurants, Fifth Avenue designer shopping and great beach/surf shops. Close to Amagansett, Montauk and easy access to East Hampton airport.
Come see what the Hamptons is all about!
