As this was our first time in Tucson, we were looking forward to enjoying some of the Arizona sun and environment. Our home at Belmont Reserve couild not have been better. We were secluded from the busyness of some locations, and yet were ideally located to venture out easily. The home was ideal for a couple - we couild not find anything that had not been supplied and was very well maintained. The furnishsings were exceptional as well as the on-site help from the owner. She went out of her way to provide additional "local" opportunities for us to participate in. Our overall experience was one of the best we have had. We definitely will go back.
So glad you enjoyed your stay and Tucson. Hope you make it back again- there’s so much more to do and see! Nice to have met you both and take care.
The Perfect Desert Getaway
We had a wonderful stay at the Belmont Reserve, the property is beautiful, right on the edge of the Saguaro Forest with great views overlooking Tucson and the mountains. The house had everything we needed and more (laundry room included!). Pool, Jacuzzi, beautiful patio to spend time in the shade watching the Quail who seem to live in the backyard. The Host was everything you would want from a host, she gave us recommendations, went out of her way to ensure our stay went smoothly, and even offered us tickets to the desert museum (worth the visit!). I would definitely return to this property it had everything you would want from a peaceful desert getaway.
You hit Tucson during one of its most beautiful Springs we can ever recall! So glad you enjoyed your stay and we hope to see you back here next year. Take care.
Relaxing home base for Western Vacation
We stayed at Anne's casita for a relaxing getaway. The pool and hot tub were particularly enjoyable. Anne gave us suggestions for hiking and birding around the Tucson area. There is a healthy population of Gambel's Quails, White winged Doves, and Curved Bill Thrashers. I saw several Gila Woodpeckers and a Cooper's Hawk as I was relaxing at the pool. The property is right on the Sonoran Desert preserve so the wildlife is abundant. We saw deer and a Gila monster during our stay. Thanks for a wonderful time. We will be back.
The great outdoors in Tucson
My wife and spent 3 nights in Anne's clean, quiet, and comfortable guest house and had a wonderful (too few) days exploring the Tucson area. Surrounded by the desert, the house is located literally less than a two minute walk from the border of the west unit of the Saguaro National Park where hiking trails abound. The house is also surrounded by nature, during day the songs and calls of the numerous birds and doves can be heard, desert cottontails roam among the various cacti and ocotillo, and the far off wail of coyotes pierce the night.
Just a few minutes away, restaurants, stores and gas stations provide the necessities.
We really enjoyed our time in Tucson and plan to spend more days exploring the area, and Anne's house will definitely fit into those plans.
Thanks so much for your comments! You sure got your share of sunshine, swimming, stargazing and the desert outdoors- especially including the first sighting of a Gila Monster in the yard. Thanks for sharing your beautiful photos and we hope you'll visit again.
What a beautiful, peaceful place! It was like having your own private resort. The casita was well designed and had everything we needed.
Anne was wonderful to work with and made us feel welcome. The location was quite convenient to the Interstate so getting around was easy. Hiking trails and stores were both close enough for convenience despite the feel of being in a private location. Perfect combination.
We will definitely stay here again if we are in the area.
We so enjoyed having the two of you and it was such a delight to see you catch the sunrises, sunsets and the full moon rise over the Rincons. You packed a lot in while you were here and we hope to see you again!
Peaceful & Picturesque
The casita could not be nicer! Everything you need to be comfortable & nicely furnished & updated. Slept like babies three nights in a row!! Wish we had the time to take more advantage of the inviting pool, hot tub and outdoor living areas. The Mountain Views are absolutely spectacular, not to mention the surrounding lush landscape! Enjoyed our friendly and helpful host and hope to come back again!
So happy to hear you enjoyed your stay with us. Hope to see you back this way again when you're ready for a sunshine and warm weather fix. Take care!
